Looks like in-store only. Filters are £5 on the website.

They had loads in my local.

hope others can find them.

I'm sure this won't convince the believers, but aren't water filters completely unnecessary? we have some of the cleanest water in the world

could be right but for £1.50 it's cost me £13 for a bottle to use for 14 months that is BPA free.. :-)

It is luck of the draw with these. My first one was near impossible to open but my second seems great.

Before anyone asks i bought them at the same time so gave the second a try as I'd already bought it.

Only the green and red ones reduced in my Tescos, same with the bottles the red and green are reduced to £3.

Gutted just filled our bottles up and they leak from the top.. does anyone else have this? The water seems to come out from around the neck when the bottle is under a little pressure?

where is your local mate?

Having used 3 for a year, both 550ml and the litre bottles, I've never experienced this! Always chucked in bags upside down etc and never a leak. Though I'm sure you've spotted this but don't fill too high to allow for filter

Llantrisant. if people are desperate and they still have them when I go next I'll pick a few up for posting.

yeah saw that. but also did a Google and others have complained of leaking. I'll risk it for now. failing that I'll just buy new bottles off amazon and return the lakes :-)

I have no problems with people that use filters but I have drunk good old unfiltered tap water all my life very often out of plastic bottles and I'm not ill or dead yet. Long may the lack of death continue. You're told everything will kill you these days so I know it's a real risk I am taking but hey.

I drink tap water but I live in a hard water area which creates a light 'scum' on the surface of hot drinks. I filter my kettle water purely to give a 'clean' looking drink and to keep the kettle scale to a minimum.

It's a shame these things won't take out the chlorine, fluoride etc..

My other half had this problem and it was because he was tightening it on too tight and had broken it without realising.

all I did was not tighten it as much and it's fine now. I won't be so rough on the next filter :-/ lol
