They fit some doorways but not all. Should come with a little wedge that keeps it from falling off, but it's easy to lose. At some point it will fall off and probably as you are standing next to it in bare feet! Oh and it will damage your doorway!

I had a gym membership, to be honest I didn't like going to the gym, did it for three years, also ended up with acne on my forehead, which now seems to be permanent. Didn't agree with me getting fit, I felt mentally worse and physically too, needed physio on my knee. Totally hated the experience, also made my agoraphobia and GAD worse as well, messed up my hormones I reckon. So I recently bought Bear Grylls Train For It and I'm going to be using a pull up bar like this and just getting fit without getting too muscular and if that doesn't work I can easily fix it with a shotgun.

I honestly thought and hoped the gym would make my anxious experience of life a thing of the past, instead I just ended up a bit more worse for wear. Do anything to do fix it, well almost anything.

They will do your door frame in no matter how much padding you put round it that weight needs to go somewhere dont belive my buy one then give it 6 months of use.

Yeah, they are; it can take me (65KG) and 25KG of weights attached to me. It does leave a few marks on door frame but nothing major.

Not sure what you mean by muscle up. You mean adding weight to yourself instead of doing 100 reps, do 8 solid ones?

Physical activity / fitness takes care of one side of life, spiritual enlightenment is required for your starved soul and feeds it which will eliminate the anxiety/ hustle and bustle of everyday money chasing/ materialistic lives which most of us lead.

Don't believe me? Ask anyone in the health and fitness industry what the machines are designed to do. Bodybuilding isn't necessarily healthy.

Anyway you can get pretty fit with next to no equipment and just your body weight. Heck even a tree is enough to replace this junk.

If you wanna do pull ups just use the swings and bars at the park if anything..

not sure if you're male or female (the comments sounded a bit male) but had a girl-friend had same problem re acne post gym, they took their own softer towel than gym towels, with antibacterial balm on to wipe face with, and never wear makeup pre workout, said it worked for her (being a bloke, I couldn't really tell either way :D)

Thanks, haven't been to the gym since March and still get forehead acne, next appointment is with Dermatologist, or mental house :)

I wouldn't blame gym for acne or injuries. The way you train can cause injury - incorrect technique, using too heavy loads not going to gym itself.

Yeah I was having a rant :) I've proved acne isn't from the gym as it continues. My knee was done in from kneeling when replacing a laptop screen on a low table. I'm 43 I accept I won't be Arnie at this age and can't commit to getting anywhere near that ripped or muscular, so that's why I'm taking the Bear Grylls approach.

If my two ways of doing pullups are either with a cheap bar in my own house or down at the kiddies playground in my vest and short-shorts then excuse me if I just buy the damn bar ;)
