I'm very tempted, but need to know what sort of tension it gives, as I go to the gym and usually stick the bike on level 15 for 10 mins which is pretty hard going and I feel gives a good warm up and excercise, but this bike might be only useful for beginners/ladies/children and not really be very useful? hmmm, I wonder how we can find out?!

exactly the same prob i am having..........

i am 6ft 6inc tall 18 stone so i need a bike with high tension

apparently the weight of the flywheel and max user weight determines the tension levels

so a 18kg flywheel and 150kg user weight would give a tougher workout! but a bike with this spec costs around £200

6.6, my your a big lad ;)

well i suspect this bike wont be as hard core for my needs, certainly yours :(

You see I wanted to get in say 50kg weights, a cross trainer and excercise bike, as that should replace most of the stuff I use at the gym, being that I need to buy new gym membership as of yest, but the membership is much cheaper! 300 for a year....

Looks to be the same bike and model number as this

http://www.ebuyer.com/customer/products/index.html?action=c2hvd19wcm9kdWN0X292ZXJ2aWV3&product_uid=124801

which has a max weight of 15stones. On some foreign sites they quote maximum weights as 90kgs and 100kgs, either way too weak for me at 111kgs when wearing slippers.
