Picked up from my local store (Reading). Priced up at £69.99 - which is a good price but had a small sticker on them saying £39.98.

There was 5 left when I got mine

Looks just like this one - apart from a different brand

These cheap ones just quickly become expensive clothes hangers,

well if i use it for 6 hours this month (which I probably will before the novelty wears off) it will have paid for itself versus a gym membership that I'd have to sign up to for a year and then get bored of and only go for the first month (costing £800 for a couple).

I see this as being quite a deal imo.

I got one of these last week and cancelled my gym membership the next day.

Are they really that sturdy? The cross trainer is my machine of choice as it has no impact. But this doesn't appear to have an elliptical movement like them, it looks like a stand up bike. Which wouldn't suit me.

Still a good deal for some, even if it will end up hanging clothes and coats.

It does have an ellipitical movement. My mother in law got one as her knees are bad but she was able to use this fine.

It seemed sturdy enough after I put it together for her

Was a good buy in my mind

No you'll see it has a bike style movement. I own a Life Fitness Cross Trainer (gym quality) that I purchased 10 years ago to deal with my problem knees. I'm now looking around for a lighter smaller machine. But this looks like it would just hurt as the movement is more round than elliptical.

But it's cheap and great for those that haven't got bad knees. Just not good for me.
