Don't think boffer deals are allowed

£452.98 too ;)

Maybe I'm misreading the specs but doesn't seem that great a deal anyway.

aldi deal is much better than this and £100 cheaper

This Boffer HP 'puter has a 64 bit operating system and is DDR3 not DDR2 plus it has a Bluray drive and wireless N to say nothing of an arguably better graphics board with 1gig of dedicated memory, rather than 512meg. It also has a Wireless mouse and keyboard, and a card reader that will read just about anything rather than just SD, MMC, and MS/MS-Pro.4.

Even with the £20 for the upgrade to Windows 7, this is surely worth £120 more than the Medion?

Perhaps some kind soul will be kind enough to please explain the error of my ways:?:

No I didn't make the OP but I do feel this is a good deal and better than the Aldi offering and so wondered why I had it wrong, judged against the current score of -34 degrees?

I got realy excited by this deal... until i realised it was a desktop not a laptop ^_^

For a desktop of this spec. the price is about right.
You can build a comparable pc yourself for slightly less - though I suppose you won't get any of the peripherals.

Before it goes on sale, please can somone link to the one you know to be chaeper.

They're referring to the aldi deal from several days ago.

Mostly out of stock now though.

So it is cheap for what it is - an HP computer and not an Aldi home make one.

Surely it should be compared with the same model. Its like saying don't buy the NC10 cos v-tech do a laptop for children at £40.

It is clearly much cheaper than elsewhere - so hot! (and it is not expired, despite someone expiring it - a few rival sellers around me feels).
