Mine arrived today. Poor quality, single ply also not as wide as standard loo roll.
Just in case it gets posted again. Also it's not a Christmas design and only smells very faintly of cinnamon

You need to add the cost of VAT to your price - when you try to check out it adds VAT on bringing the price to £167.99.
Cheers! Normally I check these things, caffeine hadn't kicked in.

Thinking about it now, I'd rather get the Nexus.
If you read to the bottom of the description it shows the price WITH vat!

Btw they are wholesalers, So kind of explains the excluding vat prices
Gosh vat omission .. I've reported to trading
it is actually illegal to state prices ex vat to the general public
Yep, you need to add VAT if you look at the tiny little writing right at the bottom of the page "Prices Exclude VAT". They like to hide that hoping people don't notice. Misleading company as all their emails with prices never mention VAT either. They also do unfair comparisons as they state as their price in the comparison without VAT but whoever they compare it with (such as eBay) is with VAT.

if these are customer returns then the manufacturer warranty would still be on them as most manufacturers allow them to be transferred so why only 30 days and there is a heck of alot of them in the picture so there is no way all of them are registered.and windows security essentials stops me from going on the site as it brings up risky behavior?

To register you need to be a trader and they ask for your business name on signup.
Try buying one!

They ONLY sell to traders.... (Extract from their "about us" page)

"Some time ago as a company we decided to change our business model. Instead of supplying consumers with products we decided to supply other retailers with products....
Boffer will now be a wholesale deal a day site for eBay, Amazon and other market traders to source wholesale stock...
Boffer will now supply high quality stock for low prices to professional sellers to re sell for a profit through various online and offline channels."
PRICE £170.99 PLUS VAT, which they only mention right down at the bottom

Still cheap though, & good reviews on Amazon http://www.amazon.co.uk/GoClever-Android-Sandwich-Capacitive-Multi-Touch/dp/B009S4HQJ2/ref=sr_1_1?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1375365979&sr=1-1&keywords=go+clever+r75

Completely misleading company. * Comparisons are done using prices with VAT whilst they state without* Emails (and you get A LOT) skip over key details like they're returns and VAT has to be added* Tiny print at the base of the site stating excluding VAT hidden in all the links and copyright. Some of their deals are actually ok, but I'm with CouchPotatoe... when companies resort to unfair and misleading comparisons and tricks, they don't deserve any business.

or today’s Boffer we have a job lot of 3 X Lenovo A2109A 9" Anroid WiFi tablet computers

anroid?
Really expensive for used, they are not much cheaper than new. The re-launch of Boffer selling "wholesale" lots is a right mess, they'll stop trading again soon no doubt, especially with rubbish deals like this.
Misleadingly the Boffer website compares their 'ex VAT' price with an eBay direct link to an auction that has no VAT to add. When companies resort to unfair and misleading comparisons like that I have an instant mistrust ... even though the price difference is still large.

What a load of crap. Ordered after I watched the video on here, however this is *not* the slap chop, this is a cheap and nasty imitation which does not work.

Lol I am actually tempted to waste my £20 for the surprise factor of what 20 crap items I might receive :P
Is now live

Here are the rules of the sack of crap for those of you who don`t know them already.

1. You will get a bag with at least 20 items in it. ( 24 if you are a boffer twitter follower -as you get 4 free items)
2. Invariably everyone else`s crap will be better than yours.
3. Warranty Nil - refer to the doctrine of caveat Emptor -

the bag could be anything- a bin liner, a recycled carrier bag or a used colostomy bag; to fit in with the crap theme. Or it could be a Chloe handbag, doubtful and extremely unlikely, but hey. Maybe you won`t even get one. Maybe the Courier will keep your bag and just post the crap through your letterbox, or set fire to it on your doorstep…depends what kind of mood he`s in.

price is £14.99 + £4.99 postage

Edited By: mrwhitelabel on Nov 28, 2011 19:42
I seem to remember from previous BOC threads, that most of the stuff sent is indeed crappy and not worth risking £5. They must make money from it otherwise it wouldn't be worth the hassle of putting the stuff in bags. Bit like Claires where they put all the sale stuff they can't sell in bags for £10 or £5 - because everything is so overpriced you think you are getting a bargain, but actually it's still all tat.
Wow -68 in 1 hour I should take it down

Ah what the heck, I'll wait it out as well. I mean it's a Viewpad for £200, that's surely worth waiting for.

Now it's time to do some research to see what we can do to get the best out of this device.

http://www.androidtablets.net/forum/advent-tablets/23727-rom-viewcomb-3-2-honeycomb-3-2-viewpad-10s.html

This is the guy who took the code developed by many people, changed the graphic and passed it off as his own. Shunned by the community, he went off to that small forum and posted on there (still picking up developers work and passing off as his own)..
OK, entrepreneur maybe, but i won't support such tactics :(
