In my opion Anyone that thinks Makro is cheap does not have a business head.

You might find the odd item on special offer but

You can buy most products cheaper at ASDA or other supermarkets, and Makro is classed as TRADE (MY ****)

Example ASDA

Buxton mineral water £1.99 for 8 x 500ml x 2 (=same quantity as above) Total £3.98:p

Cheaper than makro's EVERYDAY PRICE (not special offer)

I am sure the Buxton brand, is a good if not better than Aqua Pura, but i would know a mine comes out of the tap LOL (buts thats another topic altogther).

whats the point
ur missing the point
your tap doesnt have a nice pr designed label
it also doesnt get trucked all over the world helping scotland get some global warming
finally you cant walk down town looking like a prat with a generic bottle filled with tap water.
how can I drive my ferrari unless idiots like these people buy my water - so in future think of these things
urs with respect owner of aqua pur
ps thanks for the tip but we have been filling our bottles for years with tap water we cant all be wrong can we.
pss i voted hot u should too

you are not comparing like for like, this is 2litre bottles not 500ml. 4x the volume of water.
nothing beats tap water for price, but I prefer drinking from bottled water for convenience.
The 2ltr Buxton is normally 50p each in the supermarket.

Yes, generally Makro doesn't have competitive on most things. But every so often they do have some good special offers which beat supermarket prices. Just convenient when you need to buy stuff in bulk. Makro's deals always get COLD votes on HUKD :( I will save the effort and not bother next time.

tap water isnt the best thing in EVERY single city and area! I dont know prices of water but i do see the point of the OP and to slate something like this that people may actually find useful- just because u dont is besides the point- as they drink bottled water not tap!
so why buy lunch when you can just get it free if u look inside a bin? theres always scraps there! see my point? bottled water? CLEAN! tap water...NOT ALWAYS CLEAN!
You are a voting for whether this is a cheap deal or not...the OP hasnt asked you to compare it to something completely different!
Ill give you rep just for posting but i dont know whether its a good deal or not so cant vote there.
For those who cant taste a difference in bottled water...dont drink it ;) but keep your simple views of life to yourself! :)
