Not that hard if you shop around; depends on you tastes really.

I wouldn't say it's a hot deal but definitely warm for thoses who like Kenco coffee. I only drink decaf Nescafe Alta Rica so not voting.

I've always wondered about a supermarket system where you could refill the container in the shop.
Unfortunately people would fill shampoo bottles with whiskey so the concept is flawed :)

I guess they could put a small chip into the shampoo bottle so it can only activate the shampoo dispenser?

I doubt it would work though - it would have to be forced by government. There are large numbers of people whining about having to remember to bring carrier bags to some shops to avoid the 5p charge on a carrier bag -I can imagine the uproar if you had to remember a load of bottles as well!

Not to mention the queues and mess it would cause! The novelty of refilling a container would wear pretty thin before reaching the end of the first aisle

Admittedly I found it a hassle to take bags down to the supermarket at first, stuffing my jacket pockets full of them in the morning so I could shop after work. Now it's second nature.

Personally I prefer to drink coffee so I won't taking up this deal.

These refills used to be 200g, but it's yet another one of those amazing shrinking products. Not really a refill if it doesn't actually fill up the jar.

Not a buyer of this really .. but sounds a little high for me. I'll stand back and watch the votes on this one ;-)

Whoop de Whoop - 97% less packaging.

Not that they're jumping on any kind of environmental bandwagon though.

If they really gave a toss about the environment then the stuff would ONLY be sold in packets and would have been that way for years.

From your disjointed use of the English language, would that be an Irish coffee? :-D

What do you mean 'used to be'? These have only just been introduced, and they are 200g! :whistling:

Nah, the refills are 150g in Sainsburys and Waitrose. Do they have bigger ones in Morrisons? :?

Indeed. The older 200g refill bags were being sold off at least in Tesco's for £2.49 to make way for these new improved 150g bags at a pound dearer. Marketing for mugs.

Just seen this in Asda, buy the 200g jar & the 150g refill for £5. I might be getting old but how does 150g refill a 200g jar.

Obvioulsy not to the top. :x

It's possible, I know the wraps they sell are the same as Asda but Morrisons have 8 & Asda only have 7 in a packet. Exactly the same packaging but 1 more for the same price in Morrisons.

I guess Sainsburys, Waitrose and Asda can't negotiate as well as Morrisons, as they have 200g pouches, i know, it's in my kitchen now. You both seem to doubt this, but it is true.
