BOGOF Dozen Krispy Kreme (Original Glazed) £8.49

Got an e-mail today for I'm signed up to the "Friends of Krispy Kreme" website - quoting the following:

"With the most depressing day of the year behind us, we at Krispy Kreme think that you have earned a treat. So, we're giving our Friends a complimentary dozen Original Glazed with any dozen bought before 10th February. Go on - share some happiness in these dark winters days!"

Not sure if this only applies to people who have signed up, but looking at the email and the looks of the voucher there is no code of any sort to identify individual members - so if you printed it out and presented it I wouldn't see how they can tell if you're a member or not.

I have printed screened the email and uploaded the voucher section only - if requested I shall upload a picture of the whole email (don't see why you would need it but anyway...)

Can't remember the price of a dozen doughnuts (think it's around the £12 mark).
Can someone please confirm the price of a dozen doughnuts so I can amend appropriately.

UPDATE:
Mrs_Clooney: A dozen is £8 something, not £12.
Paulomeandi: I think a dozen is £8.49. At least thats what i remember paying. They also have another offer for a double dozen (one mix and one glased) for £13.49 or something.

Update 2:
gary_rip has kindly provided another link for the voucher cut out:
http://www.garyrip.com/hukd/vouchers/krispykremegw9.png

gary_rip: "PS: If someone wants a page of them let me know by PM."

Hope I done this right! ^_^''

Happy eating!

Give it time and they will be £12 :-D

They have a sign promoting the same offer outside my local store, so I don't think you need to sign up to get this offer (sorry, I ddn't check out the details).

Even 24 Doughnuts for £8 is a total and utter RIP-OFF!

Voted Colder than Pluto.
#7
10 doughnuts at the supermarket is 99p. (9.9p each). 8.49 for 24 = 35.4p each. Are they worth nearly 4 x as much (on offer). Without the offer, thats nearly 8 x more expensive!
#8
Voted hot. They are delicious.
#9
They certainly are not the cheapest, even with the offer, i agree.
But...........They are one of those little luxuries you have to treat yourself from time to time, and with this offer, that time is now.
Voted Hot:thumbsup:
#10
voted hot - best donuts in town!!
#11
One or two of these are nice, by the time you have 24 to get through you will hate the sight of them.
buy 11 more than you need, get an extra 12 to suffer with...cold.
#12
Great product very overpriced go into Tesco at about 6pm and get a dozen for 50p i agree they are nice thou
#13
Mmmmmm....Krispy Kreme....

comparing krispy kreme to the bullets you get in the supermarket priceless

i normally always buy 2 dozen one for home and one to take round mates suprisingly when you buy 24 donuts you dont actually have to eat 24 donuts
#15

Completely agree with last post. Try them, you'll understand! They are delicious. The supermarket ones taste stale after having one of these!. Shame I have to travel 35 miles to Birmingham just get some. Wish they did mail order!
#18
You cannot in any way shape or form compare supermarket donuts to Krispy Kreme, thats an utter insult.
#19
On my way there now with previous coupons from Manchester store.
These are the best donuts in the world bar none! Worth every single penny...
#20
I thought some Sainsbury's stock Krispy Kremes, these are full of yummy tasting hydrogenated fat, recommend you never read the ingedients on the box, bit like Haggis, tastes good until you know whats in it

Hey guys...

The price code is the following for the manchester store...which is located outside Asda and Costco oppositte Trafford Centre...

Single Original Glazed : £1:10
Single Ring : £1:20
Single Filled : £1.35

Dozen Original Glazed : £7.95
Dozen Assorted Mix : £8.95

Double Dozen Deal = Dozen Original Glazed + Dozen Assorted Mix : £13.95
Hero Pack = Dozen Hot Original Glazed + Dozen Original Glazed + Dozen Assorted Mix : £18.95

I hope that you find the above information useful....
The above is correct as from 14.12.07 til now...and is still the price....

I know coz i used to work there....Great Doughnuts...the BEST....
you'll find yourself getting addicted to them...

If you see the Hot Light (the two red lights on, which indicate that fresh original glazed are being made) switched on, go instore and pick up a complimentary freshly made doughnut....
#22
LOL, cold because you can't eat 12 of them! This site really does attract some crackpots!

These are some of the nicest donuts. Our office birthday ritual.
#23
gobofraggle
you can freeze them. This is a trick I found on the internet. They freeze perfectly. When defrosted, they are as good as new. 10 seconds in the microwave, as good as freshly-made.

lol, you lecture people on the quality of them and then go on to say you not only freeze donuts, but then microwave them. and that they taste as good as fresh?? lol.

Of course these are better than supermarket donuts (I mean, a proper option is always better than the supermarket alternative) but they aren't any better than from a normal donut stand.
#24
Voted hot! Thanks! Share with a friend have 12 each for £4 odd or give a dozen as a gift coz everyone knows they are special:thumbsup:

#26
amazing! i luv them

On the USA website it says 0grams of trans-fat... so maybe the UK ones are a different recipe?

#28
No Trans Fat but 12g of fat for an original glazed.

New York has banned transfats so thats why you get things like that.

They are gorgeous though!
#29
Too many to eat ok if a large group of you out and about shopping etc.Can always feed the leftovers to the pidgeons.

without doubt these ARE the best do-nuts in the WORLD!
you cannot compare these to any supermarket ... really .. you cannot. We had them for the first time 3 weeks back and were blown away ... we actually went back in for more! ... we had ... get this .... 24 in 48 hours! ... and I have to admit when you look at the receipt and it says £18.00 and you think .... I spent £18 on Do-nuts .. what the hell am I doing! ... but honestly .. they are the very best you can buy and even if you just buy one ... you gotta taste them ...
I just shouted the girlie .. and were off to buy more tomorrow now after this!

They are also very unhealthy. The company is doing very bad in the States and Canada because of this. It's just a matter of time before they close shop over there. They used to be very popular when they started but things have changed a lot since. Other franchises like Tim Hortons are now more popular.
#38
Always wanted to try these, thanks.
#39
Krispy Kremes are well nice... however, not gonna need 24 doughnuts... still hot tho, as they are pricey
