Shame you can't use it in Tesco, although you can always put 2 doughnuts through as 1 doughtnut on the self service tills and it wont notice the extra weight ;)

What flavours are glamour glaze?
#10
valid till 3/4/2011
#11
Hang on, fashion (skinny models) magazine themed donuts?

When do we get the Greenpeace special edition Land Rovers?
#12
slightly off topic but buying KK's from tesco stores just doesn;t seem right to me. you really need to buy from a proper KK outlet..
#13
whats so special about these? is the glaze simply a different color? or is the taste good also?
#14
There's a reason these are bogof... they let the Krispy Kreme reputation down big time!
#15
I can recommend eating them before 4 days of being bought; the 'gloss' becomes very sticky/chewy and eating them isn't a pleasant experience. In fact, I had to throw it away, it was sticking to my teeth. 'Why even bother after 4 days?' I hear you ask. Coz I'll eat any old carp.
#16
i hear these are really bad for you...
I prefer fresh normal donuts to these still.
Anyway.. Voted hot just for the fun of it
#17
Got some of these from tesco there nice but the cookies and cream is still my fave

Thanks for this, unfortunately I cannot buy these anywhere close by :(

How the hell can 55p for a doughnut be considered a hot deal?

Also how come when I voted cold it went UP 2'?

Cos you've been sat on a thread for 5 minutes waiting to think of something to whine about, and by the time you've pressed the button, someone else has voted hot in the meantime. Therefore end effect when your screen refreshes is an increase.

Thank you for enlightening me!, but I still feel 55p for a doughnut that costs pence to make is a rip off!
#23
They are nice but way overpriced,£10 for a box of 6 donuts
#24
Always preferred dunkin donuts, less sickly.
#25
39p gets a packet of pink n whites, a much more tasty snack.
#26
cold as they are awful... disappointment to krispykreme.. I got one full price and all the glaze sticked to the bag they gave me the doughnut in... so I got a plain dougnut in a glazed bag :(

Yeah, "fresh normal doughnuts" are packed full of all the nutrition these lack.

because some people fail to engage brain before buying stuff, they are conditioned by marketing

cold from me

I personally think the glazed glamour ones are awful, they just taste exactly like the texture of your own lip gloss, might as well advertise it as easy way to apply lip gloss... yuk! but heat added as thats a good price for 2!!
#30
Don't these have trans fats in them?

Because it's another triumph of marketing over value - they charge what they can get away with, because enough people are willing to pay the grossly inflated prices. Same goes for other products like Starbucks, illy coffee, Perrier Water etc. etc. You're paying a 75% premium for the name.

They should have a marketing slogan 'We charge more because we can --- and it keeps the riff-raff away' :)

That's like saying buying a BMW is a rip off because they're generally more expensive than the other car brands

These are the best dohnuts IMO

Sorry, have to disagree with all you KK haters out there, 55p for one of these compared to the garbage the supermarkets sell ain't exactly a 'bargain' but is certainly no rip-off. KK's are the best doughnuts out there by a mile!!

#36
I have to say of all the Krispy Kreme's I've tried nothing beats Original Glazed.

you speak the truth!

I like KK's personally. Don't indulge often because it'd be ridiculously unhealthy and expensive. But as a little sweet treat I love the Chocolate/custard one! Haven't tried these yet, but intend to try the strawberry one this week! It'd be nice if they were a bit cheaper, but I find them waaaay tastier than bog standard. And I've never seen a box of 6 for £10.

I feel kind of sorry for both of you if you can't afford to treat yourself once in a while by spending 55p...

don't think u can compare car brands to doughnut brands lol
cars u have specs, performance, style, comfort and etc.. a doughnut is pretty much just a doughnut

I am quite happy buying a dozen doughnuts from Sainsbury for £1 as opposed to £1.25 for 2 "Glamour" doughnuts or in your homer style DOH-nuts :p
B4 someone calls me a KK hater, i do eat them but not very often they are a bit too sweet for me
