read the bottle , only barley hops water malt, like all proper lagers from germany czech holland and elsewhere, (not france) over here they rarely and i mean rarely say whats in it, real aussie fosters is made as above " brewed under license in the uk" means its ***** the difference is that real lager has a shorter shelf lfe, "under licence" lasts forever.
afew years back heinekin was removed from the uk market by the brewers cos over here it was brewed under licence to be a cheap 4% **** (remember ice filtered heinekin? ugh) everywhere else in the world its made with only the natural ingredients and is 5% so they relaunced to the same as the rest of the world.

i love beeer but not hangovers, why do we in the uk have histamine in our beer when no one else does?

why are we a nation of binge drinking plonkers who have to beat each other up? mmmmm lets think?

by the may its jolly nice beer, next time you have alager, whatever it is read the ingredients

No need to be so patronising.

I don't have a bottle here right now, as I did not buy it again after the first time, so it's not possible for me to read the lable. This is not to my personal taste, I favour stronger European beers like Leff, Duval, Belgium Gueuze e.t.c, strong beers with a stronger flavour than this.
My Czech friend said this is one of the cheaper beers, hence the Fosters reference, i.e. at the cheaper end of the market.

Not sure this is the place to debate the ills of today's society, although I agree that the lager brewed here in the UK broadly speaking is p*ss. I drink real ale now a days, given a choice.

Anyway, thanks to the original poster, I'm always very interested to hear of any Hot Deals on Beer! Cheers

Had my order delivered tonight brewed and bottled at the brewery in the Czech Republic and really fresh has a best before date of 21.5.09 that means its was only bottled 2 weeks ago. Yum.

Not anything a real czech would drink.

They do drink...
1, Plzner Urquell
2, Budejovicky Budvar
3, Gambrinus
4, Velkopopovicky Kozel
