Maybe people are finally realising what a rip off some of these concerts are!
I went to the Whitney one with my daughter, paid approx £60 each for a ticket quite near the back
and the view and sound were terrible! You end up having to watch the big screens and even they were small from where we were!
Throw in a hoody at £50, £20 for the programme and thats £200 gone!
Never again for me, i'd much rather get the dvd after the tour's finished at least you'll be able to see and hear whats going on.
Alot of these stars are taking their fans for mugs imo.
#7
Hah you seen the price of the VIP tickets? > £400. I like the band a lot and ordered a pair of tickets for me and girlfriend but no way would I pay £400+.
#8
Great offer, would have gone for it if there were any left for the sat :(
#9
Damn, wanted these when they cam out, but they were too expensive. Now it's on a day I can't go :(
#10
Who saw them at Twickenham a couple of years back for a tenner? Now that was a good day out.Even a Tesco's outside the entrance to stock up on snacks.:-D

The very front seats which those you were offered are retail for over £200 each, therefore you are getting the 2 for 1 price.

Try again but drop down the price selection to something you are more comfortable with.

Rip off, paying to listen to this awful music. LOL

not voted because it maybe a good deal if you like this kind of thing.
#17
HOW MUCH ARE FULL PRICE TICKETS??? i just went to see jay z in manchester, sat 7 rows from the front of the nearest block and only paid £49.50 and i thought that was expensive! ive just read on this post tickets are £80 odd or summat, are they having a laugh! i'm sure this band was meant to look after their fans and that, not with these prices!
#18
Try taking it to final stage?

There certainly getting as much money out of these concerts as possible, wonder fi tour T shirts are £50 a shot?

I am waiting until tickets go on sale for next summer at the usual stadium venues, still not cheap, but not O2 prices
#21
you got be kidding kennyt....... I was there on Tuesday and it was fantastic, the best concert ive ever been to! They have a huge following and the fans are all ages and types ~ yes the tickets are way way overpriced, but trust me there are many fans who would pay that and more for tickets.

PS Jon is looking really really really hot ! omg... im gonna go lie down now!

Why bother posting about the band if you don't like them?

Yeah vote if you think deal is hot or not. But saying it's awful music is your opinion.

Good deal, yes it's expensive, but like many waiting till next year for glasgow shows prices won't be this high.

We need to take you to some actually good concerts I guess.... They have one song... played at different tempos and to be honest I have no idea on their appeal, how they're even signed is beyond me.
#24
thats your opinion but as I said..... there are thousands upon thousands of people going to see them ~ are they wrong too?

Its a great offer for people... and well posted! Its up to individuals to decide if they like them or not !
#25
Bon Jovi are fantastic and they are meant to be spectacular live. I'd happily pay £215 for front row tickets, only problem is i'm out in Nigeria the dates of the tour :(

Good music is subjective. You honestly think that they have 1 song? I went and saw them Tuesday night and they played 26 songs. I knew all 26 and it was a brilliant show.

People pay hundreds to see Madonna but I cant see the appeal in that. People pay to see Boyzone, Spice Girls, PussyCat Dolls.....it goes on....

How they were ever signed is beyond you? They have sold tens / hundreds millions (no exaggeration) of both albums and tickets. I suggest that you are lacking a little business acumen

I would be interested to hear of these excellent bands you speak of?

For a slightly worse view (but much better pricing) select the lower Tier Side view seats. Can get a pair in the next block (113) to the above for £85 (ish) combined.

That was meant as every song is the same song, the same simplistic melodies with shoddy lyrics.
Also the fact that they cannot sell out at the O2 so are having to push with 2 for 1 sales is hilarious, especially for a band that has sold 'tens/hundreds millions' of albums... when you look at a recent band - Paramore - who managed to sell out in like 20 minutes, and yes at the O2 as well... guess your sales counter doesn't mean anything especially as they're a band that been churning out albums for 27 years...

and no before you mock paramore these are the excellent bands i'm speaking of. Maybe try going to see Passion Pit or MGMT hell look at Friendly Fires for a real show... i've seen various live videos of Bon Jovi and yaaaaaaaaaawwwwn (yes i realise they're all totally different types of music to the mainstream crap that Bon Jovi is)

Your argument isn't a bad one however they are nearly selling out 14 nights at the O2 in London so you under-mined it with that comment. The fact they added an extra 13 dates is a testament to their ability to appeal to people (rightly or wrongly).

Is it not also a testament to the fact they've over estimated how many people wanna see them.... this 2 for 1 offer does suggest that way... :whistling: but i guess i see your point
