great book, a steal at this price

The hero of Jeffery Deaver's thriller The Bone Collector is Lincoln Rhyme, a forensic scientist known to his peers as "the world's foremost criminalist". Rhyme will need all his reason--and his considerable stock of high-tech tools--about him to solve this latest brain-twister: a serial killer with method to his madness. In tried and true thriller fashion, the killer's crimes are described in lurid detail, as is the astounding technological equipment with which Rhyme examines the evidence--everything from an energy-dispersive x-ray unit to a mass spectrometer.

Hot.

One of his best, perhaps not quite as good as The Coffin Dancer or The Blue Nowhere but much better than the Washington/Jolie film.

I know, I won't buy for my kindle if the p/b is cheaper.
I will buy paperback and then I can then pass it on to my husband and sons to read. they don't like my normal taste in books but I think would like this.
Thanks OP

The pricing structure for some of the kindle books is silly - I know there is a cost involved in producing the e-book version, but considering there is no physical copy, resale value, or ability to pass it on to a friend or charity they need to make them consistently more competitive.

See I don't even think the production cost is that much for an e-book as it's more then likely travelled from the author to the publisher in a digital format nowadays anyway =/
I have a feeling that the e-book is going to become the publishing industries new cash cow like the hardbacks used to be...
