I just bought their Strawberry & it is Conserve 50g Strawberries per 100g Superb quality! Whole strawberries in it too.

Its a decent tasting jam, though I have now switched to low/no sugar jams, as you usually get a higher percentage of fruit in the low sugar varieties.

Jam makers add as much sugar as possible to the recipe as sugar, while reducing the amount of fruit. Sugar is cheaper than fruit, so this increases profit margins. With the no/low sugar varieties, they have no choice but to put in more fruit.

Don't jam makers need to add quite a lot of sugar because otherwise it won't set properly?

Also the tesco no sugar version and regular version both contain 45g of fruit per 100g and the no sugar version is currently about 30% more expensive.

Plus it's jam, it's not a health, it's not one of your 5 a day and you only have a bit at a time. Just buy whatever you prefer the taste of. :)
