Are these easy to look after or do they die easily?

Die faster than a goldfish from a fair! Few of these sold will have leaves left to see-in the New Year!
My sisters gold fish from a fair lasted 7 years...but It was evil, ate all the other goldfish.

Poor trees... (or should I say twigs) they need loads of TLC... it is like giving someone a Betta Fish :(

Our last one was a real fighter, lasted at least a month.

I love these! Good find OP

Hope they treat these better than the pointsettia they had. They kept them OUTSIDE the store in the frosty car park. The red bracts went black within the day.

I recommend a cactus instead. They're much harder to kill.

Had ours nearly 3yrs now still going strong tbh plants usually don't last two months in this household we seem to kill them off, but this takes no effort at all even been left without water for over a week and thought we had lost it but came back to life again:D. So not sure what we are doing, but it works. Bought my mother one as well and that was going strong until one day she thought it was to cold in the window for it, so believe it or not she put it in front of the fire to warm it up oO and guess what she killed it, well actually cremated it lol the family never let her forget it tut tut. does anyone ever wonder if Aldi have bought HotUKDeals?

These aren't really bonsai. They are just rooted branches with their ends lobbed off. If you check the crown of the tree you'll see the beheading. Plants grown to be bonsai from the beginning, are not beheaded and have a much smoother and elegant form but they dont cost £8.. probably more like £30-40 from a good nursery. If you want an easy to look after bonsai pick a native species and just leave it outside. Don't put it near radiator!

I bought one before and it is very difficult to look after and it only lasted for about two months.

I had one of these a few years ago. The special food for it ended up doing more harm than good... Remember to keep it warm but with a draft!

They don't last because they are a million miles away from a true bonsai. If anyone seriously thinks they will get a proper bonsai for £7.99 you are deluded.
