Needed some new gloves to stop my hands getting sore and these seemed a good deal for a decent brand (RRP £16.49 so less than half price). I went for black, also available in red or blue.

Free delivery or collect from store.

Use code GOLD15 to get 15% off the price and don't forget 4% Quidco too.

Code is online only and they didn't have these gloves in my local store (Braehead) yesterday.

EDIT - only Small Red or XL in any colour left now... See size chart in post below.

wonder if these will be suitable for weight lifting

I would expect them to tear with that type of movement

For anyone wondering about sizing. This is from the Bontrager website:

How to measure your size

Cycling gloves should fit snugly for best performance, but if you have particularly thick or round hands, choose one size larger than indicated on the chart.
1 HAND

Take flat measurement from the index knuckle to pinkie knuckle.

XXL for men 11-12"..... I dont think the hulks hands are that big oO
#17
Thanks for sizing info KTy, but the web site states "take flat measurement from index knuckle to pinkie knuckle" ...... I must be missing something, I can't see how this can possibly match their sizes
#18
I agree oldibbee, my hand flat measurement is about 10 cm, which would be too small for XS women size, while I stand at 6 foot.
#19
Here is one of the reviews referring to sizing

The Large is a really good for my 10.5cm span.
Very comfortable and lightweight and a price that makes me think why I have paid the earth for other mitts that are no better than these.
#20
Ordered XL + 5.05% TopCashBack HEAT!!

Yeh you're right. Plus I am really built and lift heavy weights so these will be like paper ...

Ta was after some summer gloves
#23
Ordered. Many thanks OP. Enjoy your heat
#24
Stock is going. Black only available in XLarge now. Ordered blue instead, at least it matches the bike. Cheers. Fingers crossed the sizing is okay.

Hi,

Yes, this is wrong; the measurement is supposed to be taken all the way around the hand at the point shown in the diagram. You will probably more than double the original measurement :)

Cheers
#27
I measured using a usb cable; wrap AROUND the hand as the picture and measure the flat length of the cable.
#28
Ordered, cheers OP
#29
Thanks for the info celticprince and Simplexity, I ordered 2 pairs size large before you posted; thankfully, that would seem to be the right size for me using your method!

Cheers OP. Good timing. My cheapo mountain warehouse mitts fell apart after 2 rides.
#31
Heat added. Not only did i order a pair of these mitts. I also ordered about £80's worth of stuff and used the promo code to get 15% off a fair few items.

anyone whose serious about cycling better hurry before the code expires because this is the first time ive seen them do an online promo code. who knows when they will have special offers again and the kit they usually sell at Evans aint the kind of trash you find in Halfords.

Evans stock a much wider range of products and all of them are of very very good quality. I have a halfords not even a mile away from me, but id still much rather cycle 5 or 10miles into town and go Evans if i need something.

Thanks for all the votes guys - I thought I'd found an OK deal on a pair of gloves that 3 people might appreciate, it's turned into my hottest deal ever (how sad am I?).

@PcTechSpecialist - they've done a few online codes recently. I had these in my basket yesterday with a different 15% off code but couldn't find my credit card. When I started up my PC this morning to put my order thru Evans' website said the code had expired, then I got an email with the new codes!

Their codes are usually valid for 3 or 4 days but there is no expiry date given on this - it just says TBC.

I had no idea what size to order so went for M & L - I'll jsut return the pair that doesn't fit to my local store (hope I don't need XL 'cos you guys have bought all the black ones!)

PS, didn't have a USB cable to hand so had to make do with a tape measure. My left hand is L and my right hand is M - what the...?

Ordered cheers OP. :)

Well I have a pair of Endura gloves that are Large so I just went by that.

Sorry about the black. I didnt notice they had were completely sold out by the time i came back to my pc to have a gander at the Evans website to double check my order just incase i made a mistake.

Im not suprised these were flying off the shelves at this price, Im sure there are some people out there that ordered 1 pair then another 3 or 4 for back up.

Maybe i should have ordered a second pair myself!!!
#36
Nice find:-) Ordered mine
#37
Ordered a pair too! Thanks for posting! :)
#38

#39
