incorrect. This Eire-based vendor offers 30day money back guarantee "We do not issue credit for costs incurred in shipping a returned item."; six months limited warranty, assuming product purchase is possible.

HA a full 30 day warranty, these refurb drives get posted quite often.

BUYER BEWARE - they broke once and are more than likely to break again hence the 30 day warranty.

Also if you're using it for CCTV the single bay version doesn't do per user quotas. Lots of complaints/requests on the WD forum that they've ignored for 2 years.

Unfortunately when I checked before buying I saw my cloud was able to do this but didn't spot it was only on the 2 bay version. Used now and Currys won't take it back or swap as bought in store :/

Does anyone know which drive it's likely to have? Might soften the blow if it's a WD Red 4TB as they cost about the same anyway so I can just buy an alternative enclosure.

Misleading information , 30 day is money back gaurentee 6 months warranty nothing to say these were "broken " before amy hard drive is likely to fail reason gor 6 monthd warranty should be pretty simple to any one if they offer full warranty on these no one will buy at normal prices yes its a risk but it depends on what you are afyer really

These get posted so frequently and yes many have broken and been returned my little flowerpot or the warranty would be much much longer, I have been stung twice as have dozens of members on here. Six months shows they have no confidence in their product, it would be interesting to see if they were not obliged to provide a warranty by the government how long they would actually give?

Rubbish you can always tell when some ones fibbing you started by that fib saying they only have a 30 day warranty , dozens my foot there have no more than a few as for you i highly doubt you ever purchsed one that "broke" i have already explained the reason for not giving anything more than the 6 month warranty. Plenty have had problems withb0 the digital river store though , but not the product , if you were not happy with the warranty shouldnt have got one any way if you ever got one that is , next time try to be a tad more creative when tell fib, good luck and good bye
