Yes. When you register you can rent and buy games. You are not locked into a contract.

Paper Mario Color Splash (Wii U) - Boomerang Rentals - £29.89

'Paper Mario returns to a Nintendo console!' ???? yes, back from his sabbatical on Xbox One.

Because his last game was on a nintendo handheld....so it kinda makes sense :)
Probably not going to be as good as Paper Mario Sticker Star (3DS) but my kid asked for it for Xmas, am sure it will be pretty decent at worst.

The early reviews of Colour Splash were great but as more came out, like Zero Punctuation's that did it for me. I'll just grab a copy when it's around £20-25 not really in a fuss to get the game.
Besides, I have Thousand Year Door and Super Paper Mario which are much better.
Thousand Year Door was the best ever, I read something once (which i cannot find again) where Miyamoto was quoted saying that there will be no more Proper Mario RPG's because they introduce new characters and they want to keep the Mario Universe cast limited..
Which is a shame as a true RPG sequel would just be awesome. lets hope they change their minds for the switch.
Maybe Nintendo will make Paper Mario great again on the Switch. X)

Well it gets a solid 8 from me. The combat was more simplistic but loved the rest of the game.

Good game, but much better to play with a mouse on PC. I bought digitally on PC and Xbox, it just doesn't suit a controller.

I found it smooth enough once you get used to the character cycling.

I'm amazed anyone on this earth can even pretend this was worth bothering with at any price, let alone over a fiver. The price for a game is decent, unfortunately this is less of a game, more of an unfinished flash game some student got going in a spare lesson

Bought a few games from here the otherday. Regarding the discs, probably about 50/50 'as new'. The disc cleaner they use still leaves some of the scratches on the disc and more annoyingly they get the cleaning solution all over the top side of the disc and don't wipe it off properly.
I'll bear that in mind when making my own purchases...
I've only bought a few games from them, but all have seemed "brand new-ish"... Although that doesn't mean to say that I don't feel a tad dirty knowing that they're still inherently second hand.
I've only bought from them if I couldn't see the price of the game going down to reasonable levels otherwise. And in the case of DSouls3, I fully imagine the price to be around £20 (for a brand new copy) by Black Friday anyway... If not lower.

Don't get me wrong, still some great prices on there. Just saying not all discs are as new looking as they say :)

how does this website work? Are you buying a physical copy of the game if you "rent it" or are you just renting it haha, seems very expensive for a rental, also is it new or used? and is it a physical copy or digital download? thanks, and sorry for all the questions :D
It is an ex rental, physical copy that you are buying. Because they don't use the original box to send rentals, the box will be in brand new condition. And the disc will have been cleaned. So it's a great price for what looks like a brand new game when you get it!
So do you mean it doesn't come in the official "nintendo yellow super mario maker case" but instead their own box?

They send the rentals out in their own boxes, so you will receive the game in its original case.

Good price rubbish retailer
Why's that?
dijital
This should have been the release price conidering how long it takes to unlock new characters. its pretty much a freemium game.
It feels like Telltale Games' Season Pass disc releases which they release a chunk of content at a time but at least, they don't charge full RRP. Also, these disc releases are kinda useless 'cause if you play somewhere without internet you're stuck playing with the little content that they included on the disc.
Nintendo sometimes has a stick up their butt but have to say, they do a decent job for proper disc releases. Sony and Microsoft have day-one patches which requires to download tons of gigabytes.
You can't just buy the game. You have to register for a trial account of a paid service.
Yes you can buy a game without having to register as a trial/rental user...
How? If that's true then it's so well hidden that the website is rubbish, hence the retailer is rubbish.

Never had a problem and always delivered very quickly for me.
This is an okay fighting game but i've gone back to Street Fighter 4 as my main fighting game. 4 is just more fun with more depth.
