Thanks to Rince on MSE for this!!

I emailed Boots customer service about the Christmas Events and was told that they will be having the 1200 points for every £50 spent on boots.com, on the following days:

10th-11th of November
24th 25th of November

The 1200 points for every £50 spent offer does not start until 3pm

1200 points is worth £12.00

Code for 1000(worth £10) extra points on £100 spend might still work KJAH42

Hope this helps

Thanks for posting! Need to do another order for more pressies. I got 3700 points for a £104 order last week using the extra 1000 points on £100 spend. Wonder if it will still work along with the 10% off code

£12.00 = 1200 POINTS

thanks :-)

So spend £50 on any of the dates listed, get 10% off using the code on the 12th + 1200 points (£12 equiv) making a £50 spend = £33 !!

You sure those dates are correct?
Ad Card evenings have always been (and AFAIK still are) on Wednesdays and Thursdays i.e 10th-11th and 24th-25th November would make more sense.

In fact, the website confirms the dates for the next evenings as Weds 10th and Thurs 11th November (enter your post code on this page). The offer always runs at the same days online as it does in store.

Always check the facts before reproducing an MSE find :p

If you go to the link below, there's a box on the left to enter your post code & tells you when your local is doing it.

No, I'm afraid you don't earn points at all when you are redeeming points. However, I can confirm that the 3 for 2 offer will run up to and including 24th December. Then, come 26th December, the majority of gifts and toys (excludes certain lines that are continuing to be sold year-round) go into the half price sale and the 3 for 2 ends.

Agreed. But some items with 3 for 2 is worth the money though.

Is it 1200 points for every £50 spent or for spending £50 or more? Difference being if I spent £150 online would that be 1200 points or 3600? I'm guessing it's 1200 points for spending over £50.
#22
Sounds like a good deal. Can anyone tell me the 10% code?

It is 1200 points for every £50 spent. So... £150 = 3600 points :)

The last promotion I spent £112 and received 2400 points.

Thanks for this.

Does anyone know if this will work for a kitchen appliance ordered from their website during the offer period? Potentially would be a good saving and would be worth waiting.

The codes are here, but they're only valid during selected date periods. There was some uncertainty originally about the date of the next Ad Card evenings so there was a possibility suggested by some that there would be an overlap between the two; this is not the case - the second 10% off code starts the day after the Ad Card events.

So this is why I've been having trouble getting my order! Last weekend I tried ordering the estee lauder blockbuster with makeup and knowing perfume for £108, on confirmation the website kept timing out on me, it took 4 submissions to finally put my order through. When the order arrived the box was open and had no perfume in it so had to send it back to a boots store for an exchange, but they had none in stock so I settled for a refund! Kinda lucky really, shall order it on Wednesday with £34 off!
