ahhhh that cruddy time of year is nearly upon on .... mine hayfever gets worse every year!!!

Was in boots today and noticed that they have a good BOGOF offer on there own brand packs of 60 Hayfever tablets, plus if you go to the kisok you can print out a coupon to get an extra 150 points on the transaction. In my local Boots I had to ask at the counter for the packs of 60.

In terms of value for money this is pretty good working out at just under 10p per tablet, if you factor in the points value it works out to be at about 8p per tablet! Well worth a summer of not suffering!

(when you print the voucher it states for the "drowsy" version of the tablet but it also redeemed against the non drowsy ones just fine.

****** I cant see this offer online ****************

Not good value,

Cetirizine (Zirtek Equivalent), 30 tablets for 79p delivered Chemist 4-U

If you need 4 or more packs, newcomer PharmacyFirst comes in slightly cheaper. It charges £2.95 for postage, but just 5p per box of 30 generic cetirizine dihydrochloride tablets.

Loratadine (Claritin equivalent) , 90 branded tablets for £1.47. Chemist 4-U

Doesn't help too much when being outside ;)

But jokes aside, what kind of purifier are you using? I'd be happy to learn more, I suffer from terrible hayfever. Thank you!

For the deal: Not great. Boots are usually doing great deals on their own brand tablets when the 'season' really starts, so in about a month or so. I already stocked up some months ago online, for a couple of pennies per pack of 30 some generic ones which do the trick.

I use a sharp plasmacluster air purifier. it really cleared up my hayfever overnight. i get a lot of relief from using it so even when i go outside my reaction to all the pollen is a lot less. you might wana give them a try

yeah. I've got an older model though. i paid about 300 quid for mine but you only need to change the filter after about 2 years and thats when ive used it pretty much everyday. a brand new filter costs about 50. my unit is now 4 years old and still going strong! its pricey but its well worth the hayfever nightmare its saved me from
