This may be store specific but worth a nosey - Clearance section in the Rhyl store has quite a few packs of 20 AA Duracell batteries for £3. I also spotted a few packs of the AAA batteries for 50p and other batteries from 50p - £2. All marked with the clearance sticker.

Boots clearance are always store specific and just trying to empty the shelves of stock, slim to none of actually getting hold of any.

Good for OP not for HUKD

The expiry date for AA is 2023 and the AAA is 2016 - I know it wont be a nationwide thing but worth a look if you're passing a boots :)

Both in the sense of getting a deal(if it is a good deal) and the easy heat from the idiotic hot votes these 'deals' tend to get, people start voting such deals hot even before anyone other than the op has seen/benefitted from the deal.

P.s nothing against the op, I'm tired of seeing these sorts of 'deals'. And no I didn't come in this thread just to moan, I came to get more details then just the title and part of the description provide.

If the batteries are the "Simply Duracell"
ones then many other brands are better.
My ageing eyes do not allow me to see
the picture in detail.

Well some people are just too busy(or is that too lazy ;) ) to read the comments posted regardless of how many(or few) there are, some don't even bother reading past the title/price thus you get the "but it's £x" in a deal where it mentios using a voucher code or some such.
