Yep needed some new blades for mine and was a no brainer just to buy a new razor with the blades at this price. Voted warm from me, as you can pick this up for 20p cheaper in a store rather than ordering from Boots on the web. Would be good for those Boots customers that want the clubcard points though!

yes but this has the free golf set if you spend a tenner, great find, thanks.
#7
so you get a razor and 5 blades, so 6 sets of blades in all

if you shave every 2 days, how long does each set last you?
#8
If you buy this as a pack, is the razor sealed seperatly? (by that i mean could you sell it on, i want the blades but not the extra razor as i already have one)

Cheers

Between 3 and 6 months each blade.
#10
just a general observation is that the replacement shaving blades are expensive to buy!
#11
But if you look at the post above, you shouldn't need to replace them that often!
#12
are there any similar deals on the net for the Fusion Power version?
#13
can i get the free gift instore?

Have never had a blade last more than 2 weeks before it begins to drag uncomfortably. Do you mind me asking how old you are / how thick your beard is?

If these blades last that long I'll be changing pronto.
#16
I've had more cuts from these than I'd expect from a bic.
I think the 5 blades are too many and once the lubrastrip or "comfort strip" start to go then the whole blade appears to buckle. (usually within 2 weeks)
#17
I normally use Gillette mach 3 and can get almost two weeks from a blade. I had a freebie sample of this razor and, while admittedly it was brilliant, a blade lasted less than a week.

For me they've got to either improve the longevity or drop the price. I think they're struggling to repeat-sell which is why there are so many offers about for them.

They dont. They are very good for the first 2 or 3 uses, then its a bit more rasping! Its a gimmick.

I use these and agree, but assumed that all razors are like that.
Could you recommend a better one?
#19
£2.95 delivery online ... best to get in store unless you're buying lots from Boots.

I bought some new fusion blades just under a month ago and after ony a few shaves I felt that rasping feeling and I even had patches of red where I had gone over the same place a few times as it didn't seem to be shaving properly. Strange as the blade before it lasted months and was perfect.

I'm hoping it's just a one of.

Same here, usually get 2 weeks at a stretch. Where do they get the figures from?

I bought a Gillette Power Fusion with no blades for 6.50 from Tesco but I am unsure of the differences between the 3 main Gillette razors, their are the Fusion, Fusion Power, and Fusion Power Stealth, what are the differences?
#24
i got a couple of these packs and some other stuff from boots, with the quidco, the extra 1000 points and the £15 refund as they didnt deliver my stuff on time, the order came to £25, not bad as there was £150 of stuff at retail price in the order.

I think the Stealth is just a black Fusion Power.

I have a Fusion Power Stealth, the blades will work in all 3, right?
#29
Just bought two of these and got the free golf set too! Voted Hot!
#30
currently out of stock! :(
#31
Bah wasn't quick enough!

Could have done with these after getting ripped off with some fake ones on Ebay!
#32
yes, will fit.
#33
If they're out of stock, check your local Wilko's, as mentioned before, they're cheaper as well.
#34
Double post yeah, but bumping.

The manual version, Gillette Fusion Razor with 1 blade already attached, plus a spare PLUS a 4 pack of razors is on offer at Wilkinson's at £7.74.

The handle + 6 blades in total.

i find after 3 or 4 uses they seem to be quite blunt hehe
