PLUS i forgot to mention boots opticians donate a pound to a charity for every one sold (cant remember the charity) think its fight for sight!
Ahh cheers matey, an eye test was on the cards anyway so this is great timing
Its Sight Savers The Charity By The Way!!
In scotland we get a free eye test anyway... is this not nationwide? I bought a £2.99 meal deal and got a £25 voucher for money off glasses.

doesnt seem so hot to me...
if its a free eye test ,what are you paying £25 for A luxury lens cloth ?
an eye test is £20 in the uk EXCEPT for scotland and you also get a further £25 off glasses and a cloth and 241 cinema so the deal is quite good in my opinion
Boots glasses are extremely expensive - I'll stick to paying for an eye test and getting 2 for 1 at specsavers.
this works on the two for one at boots also - which includes designer frames. also boots are not "extremely expensive". find it strange this is getting cold.
So really you are paying £5 for a luxury lens cloth and 2 vouchers
thats a dear piece of cloth
so really you are paying £5 for £25 off glasses a luxury lens cloth and 241 cinema vouchers...
this is worth it for the £25 off glasses!

as stated in the op - VERY much worth it if you need an eye test and glasses anyway.
only if your gonna spend over a £125
true...and the designer glasses would come in at £125 including lenses (hoya lenses btw)
become resigned the this is not gonna even get luke warm which is a shame as is actually a good deal...eye test £25 off lenses cloth and 241 cinema vouchers all for £25.
would make a REALLY good gift or is handy if ur just going in to get an eye test and glasses anyway.

Eye test at vision express IS £25 or £35 with a fundus camera image which records the image of the back of your eye so can be looked at in future years
thanks dmtuk - a fundus camera image is an extra £10 at boots opticians.but comparing like for like it does end up saving u money - which is what i thought this forum was all about.
by the way for anyone reading this wherever they get their eyes tested a fundus photo is always a good idea as it very accurately charts the changes in ur eyes over time.
Boots glasses are extremely expensive - I'll stick to paying for an eye test and getting 2 for 1 at specsavers.

get a free eye test at D&A and then order your specs online at like i did and get 3 pairs, one normal prescription lenses, one sunglass strength and one transition lenses for less than £50 for the 3 pairs, this also included delivery which took about 8-10 days. One pair of the frames were Hugo Boss and another were Zara.
My Boots eye test was £10 with 1000 points put on my card. That was only about 6 months ago.
