  If I go on the Borderlands GOTY page it says I own that product... but that's not what I purchased... will it give me all the GOTY stuff and my 3 gift versions?

  i got it in the winter sale and have spent 63 hours on it i also managed to get some friends to buy it and we have all been playing together. All in all a great game for a great price

  What other games? This is only one game - Borderlands. It just happens to be the Game of the Year edition, which includes all of the available DLC, so you don't have to look to get them separately.

  Don't hate on this guy for trying to get a bit of heat. I personally think this is less stupid than the thread detailing everything in the Steam sale considering that anyone who will actually play/benefit from those games and the sale will already be watching it, and there is even a steam group for talking about it so it's not like it's just for that.
  
  The reasons will be
  
  "it's all in once place" - it is on the steam store
  "people don't have time to check both" then stay the **** off hot uk deals and look at the thing that opens with your computer (if Steam isn't set to autorun then you don't really play steam games do you?)
  "it's easier this way" - really? A page of text instead of something with details of down to the second how long the deals will be on for and pictures of everything.
  
  Yeah. Good on this guy for taking away heat from that "OMG LOOK HOW AWESOME I AM AT COPY PASTA" thread to detailing a game he likes in particular.

  I just did something similar, somehow my order went through as the standard edition, when I brought in on the Steam App, even though I'd select the GOTY. Contacted steam, hopefully they'll sort it out. Since they're the same price, I hoping this is a quick fix :)
