I'm actually getting this as I own the retail original but no DLC. I guess I can bin the retail box then :p

Hot. Have had Borderlands since release, but couldnt justify the price for the DLC's, now I can get them all for just under a fiver! Well worth it!

Luckily I JUST grabbed Bioshock 2 for £3.50 in time. I literally purchased it, went back to the store page and the offer was gone and replaced with Borderlands, they must be updating them mid-day time over in yank land.

Infact someone should make a thread about the 2K games deal on Steam (4 days of offers), yesterday (and whats just been missed by you guys) was Bioshock 1 and 2 being sold for £3.50. And today is Borderlands GOTY for very cheap and a great price on the DLC's.

I posted the Bioshock 2 deal yesterday. All deals expire 10am PST which is 6pm BST. So this deal will expire at 17:59 tomorrow.

Thinking about this myself, it just sucks that the steam DLC has been on offer loads, and the retail box version - never?

Heat added - I'd been waiting for the Claptrap DLC to be in a Steam sale, £1.57 is a bargain! Also worth adding the 4 packs to the OP (£14.99 and £22.49).

HOT!

Fantastic £7.50 for game of the year edition includes all 4 DLCs.... !!!
#8
Hopefully GTA4 and Liberty City stories on sale in the final 4th day of the sale... missed it on D2D sale last week.

Great game, but far better with friends than solo.
#10
the GOTY edition also comes with access to the Duke Nuckem area which gives you first access to the demo when its released...

It's not published by 2K, therefore it won't be. The most logical connection is that of the Civilisation series for tomorrow's deals.

I got my copy for £4 due to it being cheaper in the States (by quite a margin) for a four pack and asking someone on the Steam forums to gift it to me upon immediate Paypal. Helps quite a lot for the penny pinchers...

superb game!!! HOT!

Ugh, I already own the non-GOTY version and finished it. I want to try the DLC's but the GOTY version is such a better deal compared to the DLC + non-GOTY (which I already own).

Only Zombie Ned and General Knoxx are worth it (according to everyone on the Steam forums) so just get those if you've got a Steam version of the game.

been waiting for this to get cheap - nearly bought it for £10 on disc, but decided not to at the last minute, glad i didnt, really :)
#16
Hmm got box goty but 7.50 and on steam? Decisions, I'm awful with game discs, thank god for steam :D
#17
I got the regular game for ps3

Really tempted by this as the GOTY ed for PS3 is code redemption >.>

Cheers OP

Ah well whatever, the entire pack is only 1.70 more so I went for that.

If you get the 4-pack it works out as £5.62 each. You also get an early access code for the new Duke Nukem game (assuming it turns up).

Moxxi is really an endurance test game, and other than XP, achievements and a safe to store weapons you don't get anything new.

Claptrap is nowhere near as impressive as Ned and Knoxx, and seems a bit thrown together, but worth playing through. But again - no new weapons.

Isn't every weapon a new weapon?

Anyone who has Borderlands on Steam gets the early access code to Duke Nukem.

There are only variations of existing weapon bases in the Claptrap DLC. Knoxx introduced many new types of weapon, including the extremely rare pearlescents.

It works out cheaper to get the game+dlc pack by 2 euro in ireland, how's it work out in the uk?

Great game, Heat Added :D
