That's not a like for like comparison.

If you don't want to wait for delivery and want to play it now (i.e. digital download), the only other choices that I know of are Steam (£29.99) or Gamesplanet (£34.99).

What do you mean it's not like for like - it's the same game isn't it ?

Waiting 24 hours for delivery or 24 hours for download (depending upon the connection) is also the same thing - and I would strongly argue that even if your connection allows it to download quicker, it does not justify the £5 difference - I fail to see what makes this a good deal.

Afterall, this is HotUKdeals, not CheapestByAChosenMediumDeals.com

If you order it online for delivery now, I doubt you'll get it before Tuesday... that's over 72 hours.

It took me less than an hour to download, but thats with a 20 Mb connection.

Normally, I'd agree with you actually... I prefer to buy the solid product, because it's usually cheaper (so you get the box and disc as a bonus), but I ummed... and ahhed, and just decided today that I would get the game.

So since I want to play it this weekend, I could pop out to a shop tomorrow and buy it... guessing it'll be £24.99 - 29.99ish, or I might as well download it, then I can play it tonight.

At the end of the day - as long as you are happy with your purchase - then that is fine :)

Plus Borderlands is a corking game - especially if you can get co-op up and running. (Tip: edit the config so as to stop the mic being on all the time - hopefully they patch in the push to talk option)
