Borders everything now at least 30% off! (gone up from 20%)

blackbox2342blackbox2342

Been 20% off for a while now but it's been extended to at least 30% off everything,

They've also added more items to the 50% off too.

Just thought I'd leave the heads up on this [=

I'm looking forward to the day when all books are a £1! - That's if there is any left by then! Any insider info on when the next reduction will be?

I went to Norwich last week and the stuff that had 50% off was still more expensive than elsewhere, I'm not surprised they've gone down!

    +1

Everything in the Glasgow store that was left was still more expensive than other stores and sites. Only thing worth going in for is Starbucks lol

I popped into my local Borders yesterday, picked up 2 books, not because they were reduced though.

To be honest, with the prices 'slightly' reduced, they match many online prices now, but then the best stuff has gone.

Best bargain I found there was in the Game store inside Borders Swansea, Unreal Tournament 3 preowned for £3.98.

Glad I'm not the only one underwhelmed by this sale.

When Zavvi closed I nabbed loads of good, genuine bargains but this has been hopeless.

That said, I'll be sad to see my local close. Only place I can find a lot of imported magazines.

I was in the Borders shop at Fort Kinnaird in Edinburgh. Most of the books/items on sale were discounted at 40%, plus this weekend a lot of the sections were discounted a further 20% taking the total discount to 60%.

I picked up about 8 books, including some expensive psychology books, all for £70.

Checked the price of the books online and the cheapest buying from several places would have cost me around the £150 mark. I'm well chuffed with the sale.

they also had blu-rays discounted to £6 as well but I didnt buy those :-(
