Quite warm deal. I had the older version of this bosch drill and it served me quite well.I finally replaced it with a Hitachi and then have bought a SITE drill as spare....If they run out then this might be a reasonable alternative for £50 - three batteries instead of one as well...

Cant really compare Bosch with SITE in terms of quality but agree that only 1 battery isnt practical. Sounds OK but not hot. (not voting either way)

Good price and a nice drill.
I'm sure this is the same as the B&Q deal had about a month ago. :)
Its a shame Argos find it difficult to advertise in the correct category!! Corded drills?? X)

Not such a good deal really. Generally the cheaper drills have rather lacklustre hammer action and serve nothing more than to put in a few screws.

If you want a decent hammer drill spend upwards of £100 or you are wasting your money,

This came up recently on another deal - according to the Screwfix website "...the Site power tool range is designed and manufactured by Makita with all the professional performance and reliability you would expect from this heritage...", though I personally haven't used any of the Site tools.
