Buy the Blue pro versions not much more and far better quality. Chuck tends to slip on this version in my experience.

Screwfix regularly do deals on the Blue version for not much more.

Doh I forgot my time machine when I posted.

Seriously though yes perhaps the Bosch blue are a better range but like for like the equivalent spec drill with 2 batteries from screwfix is currently £99.99 and that's with £20 off.

So yes better maybe but also more expensive to the tune of £30 and I reckon this drill is more then adequate for normal everyday DIY use.

The Northants one is in stock and is £21 + delivery more and the 4ah battery is far better and will charge faster than the 2 x 1.5ah batteries in this deal you also get a decent carry case with it..

When somebody doesn't agree with your deal Penny please don't take it so personally - and there is a difference between humour and sarcasm (_;)

Same here. Might give it back if a better deal with two batteries of more than 1.5Ah comes around. B&q have 45 days return policy

The sarcasm doesn't do you justice Penny, you post some very good deals but you're not always right - have a good evening.

Thanks :D Just to level this up a bit I wasn't suggesting I'm always right nor was I suggesting what you was saying was in fact wrong but for the sake of those considering buying this I felt it right to point out what I did in that I think this is quite a good deal for the reasons already stated

I'm also aware of the screwfix deals on Bosch blue drills as can be seen here oO

Got interested until I saw it was 2 x 1.5A batteries. Waiting for the 2A batteries to be at this price - closest I have got recently is £75 at B&Q with the voucher codes, though I know it has been below that several times in the past few months.
