Bosch 34 LI Cordless Lawnmower @ Clas Ohlson for less than £200 delivered £199.99

KyliehoggKyliehogg

Good price for this cordless mower - with free delivery if ordered by tomorrow. Cheapest elsewhere I could find is Amazon at £232.

Very handy for the larger garden rather than worrying about extension leads and cutting through cables etc.

Only downside is that you only get 1 battery with the 34 LI - upgrade to the 43 LI and you get 2 batteries - but I can't find one of those for less than £375.

Borrowed my mates 43 LI and they are good machines.

£250 for a 43 LI is a proper bargain - each of the two batteries it comes with now costs in excess of £100.

I was hoping to avoid spending the further £175 to get the 43, but that extra battery does make quite a difference to the usability of the machine ...... choices, choices.

yes agreed top notch machines, lightweight, powerful, quality striped grass finish, quiet enough to use on a sunday morning without upsetting the neighbours, as good as a petrol mower in many respects

B&Q were flogging the old style ones off cheap when they changed to the Ergoflex handle but haven't seen them as cheap again since

so impressed we bought 2 of the 43li version, with 4 batteries you can use the mower continuously

have bought replacement blades from ebay for about a tenner each

another good accessory is the black mulching plate which fits where the grass box normally goes, this saves having to empty the clippings which are instead chopped up finely and recycled into the lawn

One battery is not quite enough for our garden so glad we have 2. I did get mine from b&q so must have been when they changed the handle.
what is the difference between the two machine? Would be cheaper to buy the extra battery ?

Extra battery = approx £115 (Amazon)

So a 34 LI with extra battery = £315 compared to 43 LI @ £375 - effectively paying £60 for the extra width cut, which should make it a bit quicker to get around the lawn ...... when I borrowed the 43 LI it didn't manage the entire lawn with a single battery, but it was a bit wet and quite long so maybe with more regular cutting we would get away with just the one battery ???

Not entirely sure why someone would buy this over a petrol.........horses for courses i suppose.

Lighter, more manouvrable, doesnt need annual servicing, no pull cable will it / wont it start moment, dont need to keep a load of oil and petrol in the shed, and reason number one is my wife will mow the lawn with this instead of moaning at me to do it.
