Not bad at all.... could have sworn I saw it for £39.99 in the Burgess Hill B+Q today but might have been dreaming.

For what it's worth, these need sds plus bits which aren't too mainstream.

They don't come loose either. Hmm, I just checked my emails and have one from B & Q with £5.00 off over £40.00 spend. Looks inviting

Anyone know of any good but cheap sds drill bits

If you have never used an SDS drill before you have no idea what you are missing (assuming you have used a standard drill). They make drilling masonry soooo easy, you apply hardly any pressure at all and the drill bits last for ages depending on use. If you are thinking about it, get one... I promise you won't regret it.

Demo...

PS, you can use normal drill bits too as there should be an SDS chuck, if not they are cheap enough.

Cheers, I have borrowed an SDS before and couldn't believe how good they are on masonary and at this price looks to good to miss. I like Bosch drills as they last for years but don't have any SDS bits. Thanks for the link.

There is a proper description of the specification on amazon if anyone is interested which is far better than B & Q's. It has some very positive reviews as well.
