2. because Bosch is not very good with filters, below usually high Bosch standards.

do some research, Bosch says on the can but inside can be everything from Wix quality filter to Unipart "best to avoided quality" part. do you expect to get high quality part with discounted service? If you will get German made Bosch (and only the Premium one) filter it may be ok, but at the same time you can get Champion's low quality spec.
