Is it just me or it it when you buy a decent drill like this one,i'm sometimes looking around the house to see if any shelves need putting up or any holes need drilling for anything else?

B&Q discount code:£10 - CLUBF41B0

I just used it now and it worked for home delivery. When i tried store delivery it disappeared and went back to 68, so I think it's only home delivery.

the code stacked CLUBF41B0 £10:00

Net amount £53:00

Worked for click and collect

I don't think the 3.15 % top cash back will track but had a go anyway

Heat for a great timed post- thanks

I've just ordered one. How well does this drill work on masonry? Is it better to purchase a cheap corded hammer drill for masonry like this http://www.diy.com/departments/bosch-680-w-corded-hammer-drill-psb680re/195931_BQ.prd ?

Yes, it is on the part by the battery, sort of points up.

All the new Bosch Syneon chip power tools are just the business, they are more powerful, and make the battery last so much longer than any other battery drill I know...Bosch have really stolen a march on other manufacturers with the Syneon chip!
Quality brand just getting better!

in my experience, excellent drill but not for dense bricks nor concrete, you can go trough, with even 8-10mm bits but a cheap dewalt corded will save you a LOT of time if you have a lot of drilling, but if a few holes only - this bosh will suit

Its very slow through red brick or concrete, so good to have a corded hammer drill for those tough jobs. The batteries last forever, I've had my drill for a year and its helped me out loads... Would recommend it to anyone.

Thanks for the post. Just ordered one at £58 as I missed out on the last offer that B&Q had for the Bosch drill...

For those of you that have registered for the B&Q club, how long did it take for the £5 off voucher to arrive by email?

Cheers

I found it will do the business as long as you have realistic expectations for battery life.

I went for a seperate corded for when I need to do lots of masonry drilling but if you are just hanging the odd mirror and shelf Ivreckon this will do on its own. Especially given the spare battery giving you one in use and one on charge!
