This is usually £99 in Screwfix which is still the cheapest place I could find when I bought mine 4 months ago and now it's even cheaper. Don't confuse this with the green version that has a plastic gearbox, this one is made for more demanding tasks and it comes with 8 accessories to get you started. I use mine to cut wood in awkward places, remove grout, sand and all sorts of other cutting and DIY tasks that used to be near impossible to do...... I buy my accessories from Saxton Tools (ebay is cheaper than Amazon)

There is no way this tool is better than the Fein. Whilst this is good it is some way off the speed and cutting power of the Fein. Watch the demo videos on YouTube.

I have the cordless version of this. It's been very handy and saved a lot of time in various jobs.

You could argue that this is better - Find me a Fein for £79.99 - Pound for pound, Bosch = better in my eyes...
I've used both (real world, not test bed) and I'm not sure the Fein is much better anyway - The blade quality is more important..

I use this every day and what a tool heat added

Great price.

I would look for a tool-free blade change though if you are going to be using one of these a lot or professionally.

I wonder if bosch will be releasing a v2 with tool-free blade change?

Yes, that definitely would be a bonus. My brother has the pmf250ces which is keyless, shame the GOP family aren't...

While the convenience would be good, would it not upset the reliability and add weight?

I don't think it does. I've not heard of any issues.

Once you have one of these, and see the versatility, you use it more and more, and then think "If only I had a keyless blade change". Is certainly not a deal breaker as it's a great tool, but it's worth looking out for, as it might prevent wanting to upgrade later.

Bosch do a keyless blade change multi-tool but are £150+ depending on what extra stuff you get with it I've used the fein keyless ones and the cheap ones out of aldi or lidl and this Bosch is the one I pick up first if I have a job to do.
If you know you are going to be doing jobs where you will be changing the blades over every 2 seconds get a keyless one if not get this you will not regret it.

Fein are head and shoulders above the rest. Tank like build quality and for £20 more its worth the extra. For £5 less than the Bosch you can get the sonicrafter f30 with 4° oscillation it will cut far faster than the Bosch.

For those that use these all the time the new fein 350q is great.. They have worked wonders with vibration reduction.. The trade off is lower accuracy however.

Can you point me in the direction of the Fein for £20 more please? I can only find it for £119.99. Thanks :)

Ah sorry. I must have seen the fein on a deal for £100. Best I can see it for now is £115 from axeminster.

If you use these often I'd still avoid the Bosch due to lack of quick release.

Super hot deal!

Screwfix seems to be cutting Bosch left, right and centre.

Anyone who bought this and would like a load of good condition accessories for it?
I have a FS thread up of the bits I no longer need as I upgraded to a 18v starlock plus model.

Hope linking is allowed due to it being the same website mods?
