Another very nice drill from Screwfix. Only one battery this time but also £10 cheaper than the Hitachi one earlier this week.

Free delivery or R&C.

Good reviews.

Only 1 battery and lower Ah (therefore less power at same voltage) than the Hitachi one. I have the predecessor to this one and it is a good drill. When I am in a 2 drill for the job situation then it gets use - plays second fiddle to the Hitachi I also have though. For the extra tenner i'd take the Hitachi.

I think this is a good deal - especially if you think you might (or already have) invested in other Bosch products that can share batteries.

I think I'm inclined to agree to be honest. This is a very good drill and may be borderline slightly more heavy duty than the Hitachi but 2 batteries is a strong draw towards it and I think both are extremely competent DIY weapons. Mind you when I posted the Hitachi people didn't seem to rate it, then again the voting system here is hugely flawed and rarely a true indication these days.

This is a bit lighter than the Hitachi, quite a bit shorter which could be useful, claims a slightly greater torque but lower drilling capacities. The charger on the Bosch is better to slightly compensate on the batteries.

One big drive towards the Hitachi for me is the 13mm chuck vs the 10mm of this one.

I got this one though I paid £99... Much smaller than my last drill so if you tend to knock stuff into alignment with the drill weight it's a bit harder. Life saver when you're working in a confined space though. Battery only takes 30mins to charge up so it's no big deal if you do run out of juice which you probably wont.
