There's also a Bosch drill driver for £50 at B&Q though I don't think the spec is as good

I'm a DIYer so can't offer a professional opinion.

if anyone knows of a better deal for a small lightweight lithium ion drill driver please do share. Im wanting to buy one soon to be mainly used as a driver and occasional lightweight drilling. Thanks

Please don't compare this to your average black and decker (or Wickes/B&Q own make) rubbish. It is from the Bosch professional range, and so is a cut above the usual Bosch DIY range (green body). Looks a right bargain. If you're after something bigger, take a look at the Hitachi cordless drills that go for around £100 with 2 batteries normally on screwfix, you won't get better unless you're shelling out on Makita.

For those after something bigger (but not huge), i'd recommend this beautyHitachi 18v

I've renovated a house, and put in 2 big decks with this being my most trusty drill.

Great bit of kit, I have a twin pack with a impact driver to go with it.

Thanks, just picked one up, love these compact drills and had to get another at this bargain price. Spare 2amp/hour batteries can be had on Amazon for £31.95
