Unless you know of a free delivery code, then standard argos delivery for this is £8.95,
this would make the actual price £348.28.
Cold from me as 365 Electrical do it for £399.99 or John Lewis and Comet £344. ;)
#2
loads of places selling around this price - it's not even on offer. doesn't seem much of a deal....
#3
The idea to submit this as a 'deal' is to get better options from the HUKD pros!
What's up dudes? This is not a better deal, I know I can get for under 340/- delivered, but still voting hot!:p
Any comments on the product and it's use?

Bosch ovens are fab. I bought one 2 years ago and haven't regretted it for one single minute. Goes with the Bosch dishwasher, the Bosch (Qualcast) lawn mower and the Bosch tumble dryer. Just need the washing machine for the full set!
It's here for 325.00 at http://www.simply-appliances.co.uk/index.php?c=26&p=405

Never used them myself, but they have been banned from HUKD for self promotion.

What's with all the /- (shillings) stuff?

Thanks for the self-promotion spot!
curry2night, use a credit card and you'll be fine. Their website is pretty rudimentary but a credit card will take all the risk away.
#9
I'm not saying it's a reason not to buy from them, merely an observation!
As stated already, pay with a credit card if in doubt! ;)

I did a huge amount of shopping around and I considered this oven a few weeks back when we were having a new kitchen installed but in the end went for a Baumatic one instead after seeing them both in the flesh and talking to various appliance dealers. The oven I got was way higher spec than the Bosch and better build quality - solid stainless knobs, triple glazed door, mirror finish glass and pull out shelves etc etc. Generally Bosch are very good, particularly at the higher specs., but at this price level can be a bit basic and the knobs were fairly plastic feel to them etc. If it helps anyone the Baumatic deal is still available for £279 - most places sell it for approx. £600.
#11
Sounds interesting, it might help if you say where you got it from and which model! Only place I can find the one I presume you have (P632SS ?) for £279 is Appliances Direct but that is £25 delivery on top.

Thank you for sharing your knowledge here, much appreciated!

roysterdoyster, can you please let us know the details of Baumatic Oven?

Cheers!

I've bought the same but not used it yet. I thought it was the best oven for the money. Looks like they've all gone now though:-Link

£340 delivered from Appliances Online so this is not hot from me.

http://www.appliancesonline.co.uk/product/HBA13B250B-Bosch-Classixx-Electric-Single-Oven-Stainless-Steel-16091.aspx

I used them last year for a Bosch oven and hob, fridge freezer and dishwasher and the service was excellent. They deliver to a specific time slot, call 20 mins before they get to you, unpack and inspect the appliances and take all the packing away. Really can't fault them.

Oh, perhaps the only downside is they will phone you up and try and sell breakdown cover, but all retailers try to get you to buy some form of insurance.

Fantastic oven, I bought mine 18 months ago from B&Q for a lot less than this price.
#18
cold here, had nothing but trouble with the bosch oven I had - really poorly made when you take the back off and check out the inside.
#19
Yep it's the P632SS and comes with a full 5 yr warranty + a few extras.
Looks very good but I've not installed it yet.

I've also gone for the Baumatic after shopping around and reading the reviews. I'm also considering a Baumatic induction hob:

Thanks Supergoose - have been offline since but can confirm it was the P632SS from Appliances Direct. As I said when I posted the deal, there is a delivery charge (which still made it cheaper than elsewhere) but I managed to pick ot up as I live close to their depot (just of Jun 28 M1).
Have had this oven for a couple of weeks and it really is fantastic

I was thinking the same but the other half wants a gas hob - something to do with still being able to heat food if the power goes off.

the baumatic's seem very good value - and much better built than the bosch.

If you can get to one of the Baumatic Online Outlet branches they will do you a good price - you can also barter with them to get a few extra pounds off too.

Thank you, ordered one!
4% quidco tracked, but AD charged 0.95% for credit card transaction :(
Anyway, my capital card pays 1% cash back!;)
