Bosch Ixo II Li-Ion Cordless Screwdriver £14.73 (RRP £29.47) @ Tesco Direct

gmrgmr

This is the latest version of this handy tool. Great for getting into tight spots. This is an excellent price - I've never seen even the older version for less than £25. Don't forget you can get premium delivery for £3.50 by adding a Tesco Value Sim to the order ;) - see earlier post.

"The Bosch IXO Gift Tin is a cordless screwdriver with lithium-ion technology meaning it does not self discharge therefore the IXO is always ready to use. It also has an integrated light and includes 12 screwdriver bits, a cradle charger and a round storage tin. It has a power capacity of 3.6V and generates 180 revolutions per minute."

That's a great price. I've just seen these "reduced" in the CPC catalogue for almost £30 if not more with VAT.

I've had one for ages now and they're great. I picked it up cheap as it had a battered box in B&Q. I wouldn't pay the £30 rrp but at £15 they're excellent.

I bought one ages ago from B&Q when they had an offer and it sat in the cupboard until the other day when I also ordered a metal shed (off Ebay)

Worked exceptionally well .. pity my patience with the shed wasn't as good.

I'm still not sure what to do with the left over bits. :whistling:

    Just an addition.

I have one and have used it a LOT!!

One thing about it that I found out almost by accident (What instructions??!!) was that it can be used like a conventional screwdriver since it locks when turned.

That comes in VERY usefull for VERY tight screws.

Very good value at £15.00 and it holds it's charge, when not used, for absolutely ages.

    Definitely NOT a toy.

These are great I've had a few now, all my own fault but I do tend to be a bit heavy handed with them.

Thanks for the replies and votes. I reckon they'll sell well at this price. They were full RRP in store the other day and I've always been tempted - for those hard to reach places.

I've just ordered ths for store collection but does anyone know what you have to take with you in order to collect the item? Also is it possible for someone else to collect the item on your behalf?

There's no mention of taking the order confirmation with you when you go to collect on the website.
