First post, depsite looking at this site for two years... never seem to spot anything worth posting; but here we go.

Bosch Kettle, from the Private Collection which are great looking products and normaly a good brand. I have reserved one from the Colchester Branch.

The Bosch TWK6033GB kettle has an extremely fast 3.1kw fast boil. you can fill the kettle through the spout without opening the lid, and there's a neat cable wi nder in the base that can house excess cord even when you're using the kettle. the bosch solitaire also has a double-sided water level indicator and a cool touch exterior.

There is posible 3.5% reserve on line with Quidco, bringing the price down to £21.33. I have had a look on-line and cannot seem to find it cheaper than about £29.

Sorry but no idea how to add a picture.

One feedback says it's quiet. Not many 3kw kettles are. If the water doesn't taste of plastic like the black Russell & Hobs, then it's a good price.
Ive had this kettle for about 6 months, it does the job but has a major issue with lime scale. The lime scale builds up every where the steam escapes ie the lid & surrounding area. Its difficult to clean off. I think its because its black it is more noticible as my parents have the cream one & although it still has a build up of scale it isnt as noticible.
For the price its ok.
I have a soft spot for any bosch kit.

And on the subject of soft, our water here in central scotland negates limescale as an issue.

Now, if we could only get away from these horses and carts and hopefully cellphone coverage & cable TV will be here soon too.

I voted hot btw. Thanks for posting.
A very unreliable kettle in my experience. We must be on our fifth or sixth replacement by now. The only good thing is the guarantee is for 2 years!
I've got one of the black kettles, it worked loads better than my Morphy Richards that I replaced it with (which used to leak all over the place)
Brilliant product. Had mine for over two years and still going strong. Only descaled it once during this time by popping one of those tablets you can get from £1 shop and it was 'as new'.
