Are you are tired of having your hand smacked by the metal measuring tape as it whips back in when retracting?

Annoyed that it keeps twisting when you are trying to measure a large distance?

Disappointed that you didn't measure the gap accurately enough with a standard measuring tape?

Then this is the deal for you - highly accurate laser measuring for a mere £33.99

Not sure if you can make patterns at night while waving it around but worth a try!

just be really careful when buying a distance measurer, a few years back i bought one made from stanley. great measuring device and somewhat accurate BUT . . . .it had no pointer (the red dot which pinpoints what you are measuring to!) so it was a bit hit and miss for example was it measuring to the fence or the the shed wall directely behind it??!

get the point?! lol!!!

1. Visit your local multi-storey car park in town
2. Measure the distance to shoppers in the high street
3. Get a free visit from the Armed Response Unit :)

this one has a red laser dot to indicate where its measuring to.

got one a few months ago when looking for a house (needed it to measure the garage dimensions) and it's not let me down yet!

worth noting that this model only has a 15m range and is not brilliant outdoors but works very well within those limits.

Make sure you take a tape measure with you as well if your going to use this, theses are pretty poor at accurate measurement. I took back mine back and bought Makita @ £80 but at least it works

You're confusing laser measures with [cheap less accurate] ultrasonic measures.

All laser measures have the red dot - it's how they measure.
Ultrasonic measures don't have the dot as they use sound to measure, but some have laser pointer to pretend to be laser measures.

It is confusing and buyers should be wary about what type they are actually buying.

This is a laser measurer and is very good for the money. It's a great compact size too. It's basic, but it does the job.

That was also on Amazon - so looks like the price has gone up...
