Hi, just got this for the same price from amazon with free postage

As Bosch deals often seem to be across more than one retailer I had a look at Amazon and they have it for the same price with free delivery.

I was looking at buying one of these the other week at a much higher price but decided to wait to see if I could find it on a deal. So thanks jason0215 for the heads-up.

Gutted.
Bought last week for £48 including 20% off in store at Homebase.

top find... I dithered about buying this when it was about £60 last time I layed laminite flooring but the amount of time spent cutting the door jambs alone would have been worth it. Gone for this in preparation for the next DIY outing. now just need to find a good source of replacement blades.

Thanks.

£82 on the shelf at BnQ looked just today!

Amazon look ok

are the blades interchangabgle with the Fein Multimaster? i read somewhere they where
#10
was checking Amazon did the blades amlost half price on 20th November - now to wait for them to do it again

A tradesman tipped me off on this tool - especially good as another poster has written above for doing fiddly bits if laying flooring. However i've used it for cutting my plaster coving, metal pipes, solid oak flooring and into plaster. The only problem is that blades do blunt quickly (especially with metal and plaster usage!!!) and they ain't cheap. I don't want to encourage this behaviour but at this price it's almost worth buying a few of these and selling the bare units on ebay and keeping the blades.

Great tool - great price HOT.
I've used this tool for grout removal over 100's of tiles and it still cuts well. Also cut wood and skirting for a large project and still sharp. Have cut thin plaster edging in-situ and it was fine. this is the skirting and architrave I cut with it:-

same price Amazon & free delivery

Nice find. Just spent over £150 on the site after reading your post and buying some of the other tools on offer. Prices too cheap to pass up.
#15
Bought a couple in the Leamington store today for £39.99 each.

Hey try that FORDPROMO at check out fire's it up to £112.47 nice
#17
Good price, but unless you're only using this for light work, you're better off with a Fein.

Went through two of these, both returned under warranty, before picking a Fein. You can't beat the real thing if you plan on doing anything serious with it.

No, they are completely different. There is an adapter to use the Bosch blades on the Fein, but not the other way around

For cheaper blades (for all multi-tools) google for " faithfull multi tool blades ", as these come with holes and slots for all current multi-tools

have no use for one right now
but seems a bargain price,ordered

Depends on which tool attachment you'd use. There is a plunge cutter which would do this but doubt you'd get a very straight line (you are better to use a circular saw set to 3cm depth surely?)

It would also take a long while - it's not really designed for cutting through wood of more than a few mm. My flooring was 12mm thick and it took a while to get it through that - it's more of a finishing tool than a cutting tool (especially for worktop!).

cheers for post, just been focus in uttoxeter and theres 1 left (£40), got a black and decker heat gun half price too (£12.75) so total discount = £52.75. RESULT.

Just picked one up for £35.99......

Focus on-line price is £42.49 (if you pay the £5 delivery fee).

Focus in-store price is £39.99......

B&Q price match price is £35.99.... i.e. the Focus store price LESS 10%. All you have to do is wonder into a B&Q and tell them Focus have it in-store at £39.99 and they will beat it by 10%.

So, if you want the cheapest price, and you want in NOW, go to B&Q!! :)

Many thx to OP. Have wanted one of these for a while!
