These are excellent tools for adjusting skirting and door frames when you fit laminate flooring, etc. Great for getting into difficult to reach spaces. Agree they're pretty expensive, but if this is the cheapest around it must be hot!

Nice pic too...heat added :-)

How is it a deal??
I brought this five years ago at the same standard price, only cosmetic difference with mine is the black front grip thing is actually dark green.

The item is really versatile and gets into difficult areas, especially if you're renovating an old house as a hobby but felt it was overpriced then and still do. I think it should be £50 instead of £60

You did well to get it for anywhere near £60 when it was launched although I'm not sure it was five years ago or I'd certainly have had one. Absolutely brilliant tool for old houses as you said, mine gets used on quite a regular basis. I think this is a good price and worth getting now as vat will be going up soon so I can't see the price coming down much more than this.

Have some heat.

great deal, had one of these for quite some time and found it very versatile.

I don't think you'll find cheaper

Think Aldi do one for about £40

No comparison IMHO. Aldi power tools (despite the 3 year guarantee) are just adequate or even poor. Aldi quality seems very variable - I have a 125mm angle grinder that has been good, but a router that has fallen to bits after a few uses.
The PMF180e has occasionally been £50. Search this site and you can see where and when.
If it is being phased out then I would expect it to be under £50 in the new year......
PS I have one and it rarely used, but when it is it is invaluable (especially cutting skirting for laminate flooring to fit under).

Erm... you contradicted yourself and then based your opinion on one of the products you've had. I agree they're variable but it's fairly easy to tell which they'll be. Your logic could just have easily said this would be really good because the grinder you had is good. Reviews I've seen put this product in the good category.

I brought it with a friend at a Bosch Trade Counter just outside of Birmingham, was having work done at the house, so I thought why not. It's still working like the day I brought it, quality product especially the variable speed
