Hi,

Needed a new drill, therefore started to look around, discovered that Homebase are doing the Bosch PSB 650RE for £39.99, but here's the best bit, today (27/03/10) only they are doing 15% of at the till making it £33.99 and B&Q match and lower there price by a further 10% making it £30.59 !!!

I actually only paid £29.99 as the guy at the till didn't know what he was doing and worked out 10% + 15% to give me a full 25% off !!!!!!!!!!!!

This drill is regularly priced at £30.00 in B&Q. They just inflate the price because they do 3 for 2 on Bosch tools. Decent cheapish drill (because warranty and service are good) but the power button can refuse to click on to full speed. Oh and the reverse has failed to work on mine twice.
NOT voted but not really a deal as such - more a scam pricing.

I've had the same problem with a Bosch SDS drill which I managed to get working again by giving it a good thump:)
