THe Ryobi B&Q had on a few weeks back was a much better deal. You really need 2 batteries.

They have an 18v Black a Decker cordless hammer drill with 2 batteries and case in B&Q for £39.99 gotta be better than getting just a drill drive IMO

Doesn't quote the torque (nor can I find it anywhere on the net). Doesn't state the battery size - elsewhere it comes with one 1.2amp battery - about as small as you can get.
So I guess they don't quote what you won't like or rate(?) :x Specced down to a price.

I've a similar bosch 12v and it's been excellent - the locking chuck still works fine and the torque is adequate. Have needed to replace the battery once for almost the price of this drill:roll:

So it's close to being hot (£70 elsewhere) but the lack of specs and one small battery stop me voting (i.e not cold either).

they do come with 2 batteries. i already bought the same one from B&Q in september for £40. they only had one batch of them at that price and i haven't seen them there since. it's a fantastic drill. recommend it 100% and i have 4 different cordless drill that i use every day at work. its main use is for screws. perfect for that as its quite small, lightweight and the little light it has is a godsend when in tight dark places.

doesn't say anything on the link about having 1 battery but the post on here does.: ?:?

Was the B and D 18v cordless instore or online? It would have made a great belated christmas pressie for my dad as he needs a new cordless drill.

When you have the likes of Ryobi about, the Bosch Green doesn't even come into contention for me. Only the Bosch Blue range does it for me, along with Makita.

Not sure about online, I bought it 2 days ago when it was 15% off everything came to £33.99... Post above thinks it's gone up though? I only bought it on thursday so it should still be the same price but can't confirm ...if is still the same price though it's great...I charged up the first battery and haven't had to charge it since and I've used it loads...second battery still in the box, will probs keep as a spare when the old doesn't keep it's charge anymore

Definitely an OK deal. Voted HOT.

BUT -- they are rubbish compared to the blue Bosch range.
A battery will cost approx £30 so this one makes a bettter deal as it comes with THREE batteries and is a MAKITA. - Best you can buy.
Was £179.99 NOW £79.86

But for £25 this takes a lot of beating.
