Yes, I know the '34' is a bit better, the '36' is quite a bit better (and only £89 at B&Q), the '40' cuts more grass etc etc etc, but just rate this on the price for what it is please! :-) Anyway, I've just bought one for my small garden and am very happy!

Good price but I'd defo go for the 34 or above unless your garden is really really small.

The 36 is £89 at B&Q at the mom which is a good price

Unless argos made a mistake, you bought the 320 rather than the 32.
#12
Not a bad lawnmower, I got mine from B&Q last September for £49.99 (half price).
The build quality maybe be worth checking, I had a handle deformed beyond use.
#13
Great price & just the right time (previous mower blew-up).

I bought my 36 Bosch Rotak from B&Q and it cuts just as good as my petrol lawnmower quality and build seems good I got mine for £75 as I got a 15% off voucher - very happy :D

Does anyone know if the blades on these are plastic or metal?
#21
This one was £44.99 for a short time in march when they were competing with B&Q.That said it's still a good mower at the new price. It's a very light mower easy to push, carry and move around.Ideal if you have problems lifting or pushing. The plastic is a bit thin hence the low weight.I'd recommend it but note this is in no way a heavy duty piece of kit.

I'm not normally one to seek/enjoy revenge but you asked for this for "hehe" laughing at me.
Your Argos purchase was also posted as a hotukdeal today and currently stands at -63 degrees. This posting currently stands at +412 degrees. Admittedly, of course, you have actually saved a fiver...
Mind you, on this evidence I suggest you seek advice on how to spend it. HEHE!!! :-)
#24
YES! Been waiting for a lower priced Bosch lawnmower, hot hot hot!

Good price but I'd defo go for the 34 or above unless your garden is really really small.

Not true! My lawn is 70ft long and this is an excellent mower - and 70ft is not "really really small".

This mower is SO much better than anything Flymo offer by the way.

....but is it just 320 mm wide ? (_;)

Nah, I'm just messin'.
As I understand, there is minimal differece in the blade widths although I do realise that they all have different power in the motors and some other benefits too as you go 'up' the range. Putting all these other attributes aside for the moment, there's not a great deal of 'extra' cutting with a blade that's just a few mm smaller in diameter.

(for the record, I have a 36 & I think this is a hot deal )

The only March posting I can see was for the vastly inferior predecessor, the '320'.
There was a £49.98 posting for the '32' from September 2010, but presumably that's because few people are looking for a lawnmower at that time of year.

Just bought one thanks op. I only got a small garden anyway.

Do you do Grant's hair with it too?
#31
Great mower. Got it for £50 at B&Q but still a reasonable price. For such a flimsy looking and feeling thing it really does a good job.

I have a big garden and 32, no issue at all. Difference is 2cm, so I have to do 17 rows instead of 16 had I own 34, big deal

both metal, replacement blade you can get for under £10, as can the drive belt.
#36
best lawnmower I have ever had much better than a flymo
#37
i'm sure this is cheap, but its just not a ransome cylinder mower.

I know its like comparing a Vauxhall to a Ferrar (slight exaggeration?) i, so heat added.
#38
metal blades on the 34 and worth buying as it has a more powerful motor
#39
This is also the same price at Homebase (has been for quite some time). I've got both '15% off' and '750 bonus points' coupons to use at HB so been thinking of getting one from there.
#40
Yes, I know the '34' is a bit better, the '36' is quite a bit better

I think the OP has this the wrong way round. Compared to this 32 model, the 34 is much better, completely different design, and much improved specs all round i.e motor, box capacity, cutting heights etc. Wheras the 36 is exactly the same as the 34 apart from a slightly wider blade and body.
