Making this cold - sorry.

just bought thankyou. Desperate for a new lawnmower as been relying on a friend to cut my lawn as been struggling with my flymo. Hope it gives a good striped effect:santa:

got this mower last year and it's performed well, the height adjustment is a bit clunky but works just the same. This is an easy mower to push around the garden - unlike the previous mower (by another manufacturer). h and r added. very good find at this price.

Many thanks for this, was after a bosch for a while and this is best price for a while now. Also seems like they hold they're value.

Have one of these they are awesome. Easily the best mower I have ever had.

Lawn looks 100% better since the flymo was binned.

Had one for about 6 months now when argos had offer on for £65. VERY pleased with it, stripes are good too (somebody asked). very glad i got rid of the flymo cos they are a load of c**p now

I have a Rotak 43, LOVE IT
Always looked at the battery one... its expensive though.300 quid?!
Do the batteries last, and have you compared it to a mains one?

20+ years of struggling with a string of increasingly hopeless Flymos and changed to one of these (37 model) this spring. Should have done it years ago - great mower. Mine was around £130 but worth every penny!

Hot!

I concur with all he good reviews. Bought one to replace a flymo which was nothing but trouble (had 3 replacements all within warranty) and this knocks it into a cocked hat. The difference in the look of the lawn is incredible. The cut length is even, you get a mild stripe effect and the lawn just looks healthier.

Agree with previous comment about the height adjustment being a bit clunky but you don't change this very often and at least it is just done with a handle and does not requre tools like other mowers. Only other downside is that the grass box , although a good size, is an odd shape and you have to give it a really good shake to get all the grass out.

Best price around at the moment so hot although I payed around £10 less from Argos a few months ago.

Whats the cable length on this?

We had an old petrol flymo, changed for a new flymo, but took it straight back, the build was total C**p! bought one of these, and it is brilliant, apart from the height adjuster which is a bit clunky, but tends to be a set and forget thing anyway, well recommended.

I got tired of petrol engined mowers failing - and bought the larger "43" version of this one and its a brilliant mower (and was just over £100 when borrowing a pensioner to buy it). This is not much more than it was costing to get the petrol mowers serviced. If it fails the day after its two year warranty expires - then its still cheaper than the petrol ones we had.

Its also a Which? best buy too.
#29
Yep good price and great mower (we have had one for a couple of years now)
#30
Great mower and great price - but do note the size: this is a smaller version and it may be that you would be better paying a bit more for a larger one (37 and 43cm I think).

Even at full price they are great mowers!
#31
Mine arrived today, am very pleased with it.

Note that the Rotak 40 has just been reduced by a further £20 to £110 (free p&p)
