I got this mower from Amazon a few weeks ago for £99.99. It chopped down my mini Amazon (see what I did there?) of a garden with ease. The collection basket is a bit on the flimsy side, but other than that it's a great mower and at £79.99 it's even better.

Heat given.

Managed to get a Rotak from B&Q a few weeks back, very similar model but different handles.

Have been very impressed with it so far. Has no trouble cutting through the long grass on my uneven garden.

got it for 59.99 in May:)(homebase deal-price matched against argos and added 15% extra weekend discount-bargain!)

Through some price matching, I got mine for £63.99. Good mower but two things I would prefer to be better.
As mentioned by ReviewChimp, the two piece collection box which is made for easy storage is pretty flimsy.
They should really have included the adaption kit to be able to store the cable nicely on it rather than just winding around the handle. This was £4.99 recently but seems to have gone up in price.

the one at homebase is not the ergonomic bosch 34r at home base - totally different model look at the box it is around 3 years old
i got my ergonomic rotak 430 from bandq for £89 few weeks ago

I've got the ergonomic 430 version of this, it's a great mower; far better than the cheap, but not so cheap it didn't have drive to the wheels, petrol unit it replaced.

bosh lawnmowers have really dropped in quality, cheap, made in china rubbish these days

Not a great deal, has been £69.99 quite recently, please no mention of time machines.

I bought the 34, then changed that for the 32 when that was £55 recently and then swapped that for the 43 when that was £85ish. I'd recommend getting the largest width you can afford, regardless of garden size, as the increased power of the motor just makes it so much easier.

Some models are still made in the UK.

430's, 370 Ergoflex and Li models are still made in the UK... Most of the other, smaller diameter rotak models admittedly are made in China.

Just a reminder for B&Q, Argos and Homebase customers, when you buy a Rotak 34R or 370ER, do as the box instructs when you open it and look inside the grass box for the back wheels before returning it as faulty. Please...

They are a bit plasticky but there's nothing wrong with the way they cut the grass! (_;)

Captain Picard disapproves of using cheap labour abroad. The line must be drawn here, this far, no further.

Another thread that goes off topic quickly....

Keep Your box! If you need to claim on the warranty, there are no local service centers anymore, they are collected by courier.

This is the 2nd Bosch mower we've had which has failed after the 2 yr warranty :(

Great mower - like my one. Lifts all the grass and has a good box.
