Give your lawn its last few cuts of the season with ease. £89.99 at Screwfix for a very good lawn mower. Possible 4% Quidco bringing it down to about £86.39. £109.99 at both Amazon and Argos, considerably more at most other places.

The Bosch Rotak 40 electric rotary lawnmower has a high torque 1700W ‘Powerdrive’ motor that enables it to tackle long grass with ease. With the innovative grass combs it can cut up to or over the edge of your lawn. It has a full 40cm cutting width, a rear roller for stripes and a wide range of cutting heights from 20 to 70mm, making it ideal for large lawns.

The Rotak 40 comes complete with 15m of cable making it ideal for medium- to large-sized lawns. It comes with a full 2 year parts and labour guarantee.

Best lawn mowers you can get :-)

Just bagged the last one at my local branch. Quiet and nice and light as well as cutting the grass superbly. All the grass goes in the grassbox unlike my previous Flymo that threw grass everywhere apart from in the collection box!

Is this a better lawn mower than a Flymo? I have an 6yr old one of this Flymo turbo compact 330 and was thinking of upgrading:

had one for 3 years now highly recommended

I got the 43 from B&Q, it is brilliant.

Please note, I don't think they come with the cable winder that you see in the picture, this is an added extra as far as I know. Certainly the 43 didn't come with it, I bought it from Amazon for about £5 and it is well worth it.

Without a doubt better than a previous Flymo and a McCullough Lawnmac Petrol that I had previous.

Just ordered - Many thanks. Garden is starting to resemble a jungle... X)

I don't suppose it's self propelling is it? Half of my lawn is very steep and sloping and therefore hard work, plus my Mower fell apart at the weekend! so I need to buy another.

Good mower. Had mine for over a year. Mind you I got it for £36 so maybe worth hanging in there till the middle of winter for a better price.

Collected mine yesterday and used it last night on long grass, it was a dream miles better than my 2 year old powerful Flymo which is now in the bin!

It is not self propelled but is very light. Our garden is sloped too and this goes along it like a knife through butter. I would never go back to flymo after these, they really are brilliant mowers :-)

What a shame. Seems like a really good deal but my lawn is just a shade over 20 metres.

Thanks for posting though. If you see one with a longer lead please let us know.
