symonds1symonds1

Been watching this for ages, this is a bargain price. This is the 2011 model (Ergoflex) with two batteries. Gets great reviews. Prices elsewhere:

Homebase:£449
Argos: £459
Very £519

Please don't vote cold without posting a link to where it is cheaper, thanks.

Interesting site... the previous lower price was from a third party seller who would have charged quite a bit for shipping, so this could be the lowest ever delivered price.

Thankyou heat added, is this petrol?

No it is battery (lithium ion) powered

I've looked at these before, but I think I'd still go for petrol. Petrol ones are sooo much cheaper and you won't run out of juice half way round!

Agree that petrol can be cheaper (but Bosch is a quality brand) but you will lose servicing costs. On the battery front, this is from one of the Amazon reviews:
"It comes with two batteries, which I didn't really appreciate, so one can mow continuously (unless you have a very rough lawn which will use the battery up faster than it can be charged). "

I'd go for petrol over this, this is just gimmick tech stuff for people with a small garden that's perfectly flat, you could buy a very decent petrol one for that price if not much cheaper!

Bosch is a "quality brand", don't make me laugh... its just like any other manufacturer, I've had a dishwasher, pressure washer and cooker go kapoot. Would not consider buying a Bosch again.

I suggest that you have a look at the Amazon feedback from people who have actually used this. Link.

Was lucky enough to pick up a cordless bosch mower at the boot sale for £20. Thought about reselling it but the mrs loves it and we sold our old petrol. The bosch batteries do our lawn which is 130 foot by 50 foot on a full charge. Would avoid non bosch batteries though as we had 2 of those which came with it and were both useless. Replacement batteries for this item are £120 each. So at this price its a bit like buying the batteries and getting the mower free.

No doubt stolen at that price (_;)

Love "The Fire's Out On This One" box. Can't wait to see somebody mowing the lawn with a cordless phone.
