this is as basic as it gets for a Bosch

Was this price before as an opening offer and the deal got very hot.

I wish they made washing machines with one 30C wash and an on/off switch. The more basic they are, less likelyhood of f*ckin up

if they did you would soon ruin your clothes, unless everything you own is cotton. Plus 30C is not hot enough to wash bedding and towels, these should be done at 60C or you won't kill all the bacteria :-)

The classixx range is better, but either way the Bosch motors are the best around.

can't go wrong, but i'd go for this for the extra £30

Re Best Buy and Quidco, a friend of mine is still waiting for cashback 10 weeks after his credit card was debited. Quidco say they're chasing Best Buy to honour their promise. I don't know if this an isolated case, or commonplace.

it washes clothes - what more does a washing machine need to do? oO

Thanks Op my Indesit just packed in after 9 years

In my opinion buy a reliable inexpensive washer and replace when it packs in. I've bought a couple of expensive washers before and they both failed, fortunately within the warranty period.

Paid with Nationwide Credit card so this ones good for at least 3 years with the extended warranty.

that's are very simplistic view, which I am sure you don't apply to everything you buy.

Are you saying ALL washing machines are the same ?

of course I'm not. just saying that probably 90% of advanced machines functions never get used

I disagree, you may not, but that doesn't mean all others are the same.

Larger drums for families, quieter brushless motors for home workers and retired, longer guarantee to protect from repair costs, higher spin speed for those with dryers ....

The reviews are good but noone in their right mind will buy it at £399. It was between this and an Avantixx (Bosch) which had 15 minute wash, 6KG drum and various other bits and bobs. That one would have been from £320

http://www.coopelectricalshop.co.uk/products/ProductDetail.asp?ProductCode=BOS-WSH-WAE24366GB-W&utm_source=google&utm_medium=basefeed

Coop even do a 2 hour delivery slot which could be handy.

The one thing that the cheaper model has though is that it has a separate spin which the 24366 doesn't appear to have.
